Amazing Service at Mercure Bologna!
We had a fantastic stay at Mercure Bologna. The hotel staff were all incredibly helpful, but a special shoutout goes to Giulia, who went above and beyond to make my girlfriend’s birthday special. She spent her Sunday helping me contact local patisseries to order a cake, even going as far as calling multiple stores and translating all the different flavors for me. She organized everything to perfection, making sure the cake was delivered to our room with a lit candle after we returned from dinner. Mercure Bologna, I hope you see this review and recognize the outstanding service Giulia provided! The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bathroom was modern and chic. We also appreciated the water dispensers on every few floors, providing clean, tasteless water. The hotel’s location is perfect—right across from Bologna Centrale station. Highly recommended!

We were disappointed that smoking is still permitted throughout the entire courtyard space, which was lovely but the widespread smoking prevented us from using. Air con in room was insufficient and humid. Great breakfast buffet and otherwise well renovated hotel.

Great service. Beautiful hotel. Fantastic location
The room was excellent. Very clean, everything worked properly. Strong air conditioner. Super comfortable bed. Great location as it’s right across from Bologna Centrale and close walking distance from the historic district. Best of all was Pasquale. We arrived extremely late (maybe 1:30 in the morning) and he received us with a smile, great information, and concern for our needs. Just a wonderful person. And the quiet garden area is sublime for morning coffee.
