Great location disappointing though
Its a beautiful hotel, great location, no need for transport to the airport. Its outside the door, up some stairs and that is T1. T2 is a bit of a walk but can be done. The breakfast LOOKED beautiful and plentiful with hot, cold and made to order egg options; but, it starts at 0630, and I was there at 0700 and the supposed hot food was already stale and hard. I wondered if it had been reheated or at what time they actually made this food. It wasn’t very good and I was very disappointed. The room is spacious, also clean and nice but the bed itself was too firm for my liking. To each their own but I could not sleep. Hard bed, very flimsy soft pillow make for a bad combo. I could not get comfortable. Excellent service, self-checkin kiosk, small parking in front fo unloading. I would stay again - because of how close it is to the airport.

Big broken rooms
The room had stains on the carpet and the bathroom wall. The heat didn’t work. The chrome cast feature didn’t work. Huge room with tons of space. The drain in the bathtub wouldn’t stop water. A technician came to the room to fix the heat and said it was fixed but the room never heated up.

The hotel was superb except in two areas:1.the amount and placement of electrical outlets was dismal and inadequate for charging devices. 4 outlets in room is not adequate. (One in bathroom but to the next issue) 2. We received a handicap room (not asked for or required) but the bathroom was without a counter for placement of toiletries plus a cacophony of handles, buzzers and emergency devices we had no instructions on or what to avoid using/pressing. Esthetically pleasing room, but lots of impractical features.

Very modern elegant hotel.
Check in was very easy using the automatic check in machine . Hotel and room were clean, modern looking, and elegant. Hotel is right next to the Berlin airport, but so quiet that one would never know an airport is next door. Staff were polite and helpful during check out.
