Minutes away from the Old Mill District and close to all of the best that Bend has to offer. A quick 30 minute drive puts you at the famous Mt. Bachelor, making this the perfect place for you to recharge and prepare for your outdoor adventures

We will check in periodically to ensure your stay is going smoothly and are available to answer any questions, but won't bombard you with messages!

*Phil’s Trail, a highly acclaimed mountain bike trail system are just a 30minute bike ride or a 14-minute drive away.
*Walk to the river, follow the canal trail west.
*The Old Mill District, Box Factory, and Food Carts are a convenient 5 minute drive or quickly access downtown Bend w/ a 10 minute UBER
*Haden Homes Amphitheater 1 mile away, easy 25 minute walk.

This is a growing neighborhood with possible construction nearby. We unfortunately won't be offering discounts at this time for any construction related noise we can't not control.

Gathering Family Together

The Ponderosa House checked all our boxes for a family visit to Bend. As parents of adult children who live away we look for spacious 3 bedroom accommodations. This house did not disappoint. It has plenty of room and available entertainment. We visited Bend for skiing and enjoyed the backyard hot tub, playing billiards, and darts. Finding the canal walking path at the end of the street was a wonderful bonus.

Fun stay in Bend

The house was just as listed. Aside from a few minor maintenance issues (refrigerator, kitchen cabinet door), everything was great. We really used and appreciated the hot tub, pool table, and game room...they provided hours of fun for our multi-generational family group. Minor request: more dishtowels would be handy!Communications with owners were quick and helpful and they were flexible about giving us a late checkout. We would stay here again.

Great for kids!

We have stayed at this home twice because our kids requested we go back! It has plenty of space for everyone and the pool table and games in the garage provide hours of entertainment.

Beautiful House, great location

The house was beautiful and well appointed, centrally located. Hot tub is new and clean. Great place fro a group of friends or a larger family. Unfortunately, wifi password was not provided, and owners were away camping and unreachable.

Great house with some quirks

House was roomy, mostly clean with tons of fun games for adults and kids alike. Home is older than the pictures imply so there are some bumps and bruises here and there. Master suite upstairs lacks a door so be prepared for that if you want privacy and wishes it had a fireplace for those chilly bend nights! The lighting in some of the rooms is more on the fluorescent side/LED so it lacked a warm, cozy feel you want in the evenings. Owners were friendly, welcoming and super responsive. House had ample supplies any everything you need to cook meals. Location is good, about a city block from walking/biking trails and super close to the mill district. Overall I would rate this property a solid 4-4.5. A few aesthetic upgrades and a door on the master bedroom would bump it closer to a 5.

Great place for a group!

Fun in Bend

This house is perfectly set up for families. With three bedrooms (2 on the main floor), extra sleeping areas, 3 full bathrooms and lots of space it’s fabulous! The proximity to the Old Mill and Hayden Homes Amphitheater was perfect (less than a mile). It has a ton of games for adults and kids (and I mean the cool games like pool, ping pong, one shot basketball and more). The welcoming hot tub wraps up house and its awesomeness.

Annual ski vacation

Great place for our group of 6 (3 couples) to stay for a week do skiing at Bachelor! Just a 35 min drive to the mountain, and centrally located in town for restaurants. The backyard was perfect for the doggies and the hot tub was great for after a long day on the slopes.

Perfect location in bend, great place to relax

The property is easily accessed, very roomy and a great place to just hang out at the end of the day: hot tub, pool table, privacy in the back yard. My group had a blast and I would recommend this place to anyone staying in bend

Great house for a large group

This house was in a great location and perfect for our group of 6 with dogs. House has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so everyone had their own spaces. The spa was hot and clean and the bbq worked great. The pool table was fun, however has seen its better days. My only complaint is the kitchen needed some deep cleaning and there was dog hair all over the furniture which got on our clothes.

Just Right for the whole family.

Plenty of room for my 2 year old Grandson to run, safe furniture, (watch the change in floor levels!) The dogs had easy access to a fenced in back yard. Plenty of bathrooms, Large dining table to gather, a cozy conversation area, comfortable couch for gathering to watch TV together, for the evening relaxation, the hot tub and pool table were perfect!
