Always a breeze! Bring your gear to this Sargent canal front getaway! Easy access by boat to East Matagorda Bay and the Gulf of Mexico fishing. Relax on the deck while listening to the Gulf, fish and crab off your private pier, kayak down the canal. Within walking distance of restaurants and bait camps!

This home offers two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed and second room with a queen bed. There is a also a full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs you will find a bunk room, with 2 sets of twin bunks(4 twin beds), a full bathroom, laundry area, refrigerator and microwave. There are smart tv's through out the home, as well as dvd players and games.

There is a fishing pier with covered fish cleaning station, as well as a storage room at the pier.

Take a walk or drive down our beautiful beach and witness the gorgeous sunset/sunrises Sargent has to offer!

Beaching, swimming, surf fishing, fishing the ICW, kayaking, boating, breath taking views, shopping, there is plenty to do here in Sargent! We can't wait to have you!

This property was in a great location. The house was very cute and comfortable! They had most kitchen items, and an old smokey grill. This place is right on the water. Would like to rent it qgain!

Family fishing trip

The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need for a great fishing trip or just hanging out on the water. The location is perfect. Had a some water under the kitchen sink but the maintenance guy was there INSTANTLY and it ended up being a leaking water bottle. Fully stocked kitchen.

Sargent Summer

The place provided all the necessary items for a great week of fishing and visiting with family. Make sure you go to the grocery prior to heading in because there's only a Dollar General and Family Dollar close by. Locals are very friendly as well especially the next door neighbors. Great people. Cheers!

Comfortable rooms and furniture with bonus bunks in 1st floor. Boat dock was handy to keep boat in water and ready. I would rent again

Excellent property for a family Easter gathering

Great place for corn hole competition under the house in the shade and fishing in the canal. Some of the family has a place in Sargent and they joined us for the day. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Hope to stay there again soon.

Needed a place to stay just for the weekend and this place had everything we needed.

We were impressed as soon as we drove up to this property. Very nice on the outside so we couldn’t wait to go up the stairs and see the inside. Once we got in and checked everything out we were all very happy to stay here. If your looking for something for a few days or longer this place has it all.

Great place!

Several among our family and friends are in the middle of transitions in their homes, and we ended up with no comfortable spot for our Thanksgiving gathering this year. So we ventured out and rented this place for the weekend. And, well, this may end up becoming an annual tradition for us. This place is PERFECT for a semi-small family gathering. (We ended up with six on Thanksgiving day and, while not everyone stayed overnight, we could have easily handled them all -- plus a few more -- if they had.) Very clean. Very well supplied. Very awesome. (And, in response to another review that noted the only draw back was a lack of a wine opener, we left one behind. Y'all enjoy.) We noticed some other reviewers registering some (minor) complaints about the bunk room at the bottom being unattached to the rest of the house (you have to go down some outside stairs to get there), and we want to say that, while that IS true, we think it's of no significance whatsoever. We found the neighborhood extremely quiet and friendly. Security was of zero concern for us while we were there. Very nice place. Especially for the price!

End of Summer get away

Celebrated Labor Day with friends and family. Very clean. Well kept yard and dock areas. Plenty of room for our group of 8. The bunk room was great for our kids.

You never really know what you’ll get but this property was exactly what we hoped for and more! Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great location. Morning/evening fishing off the dock - days spent at the beach! Super fun!!

Great weekend away !

The property was good in general. Just a few things that bothered us a bit . The third room with the bunk beds is downstairs and outside. If you have kids, keep in mind that they will be sleeping outside. The room downstairs is not connected with the rest of the house. Also, there wasnt a a wine opener and grill utensils. On the positive side, the location is great and the fishing option is a plus. We had a great time!

Great getaway location

Rental process and communication with renting agent was great. The house was clean, well stocked with cooking accessories as listed on the property description. We had no issues at all with the neighbors, they were very informative and offered help if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again! Catching plenty of fish and blue crab was a success too!!
