The hotel is very well located for a few days in Basel. We took a day trip by rail to Lucerne and the hotel location was perfect for this reason. Also, the Old Town of Basel is a short walk. The close proximity to the train station was a bonus, but you must expect a little low level noise from the train and buses nearby. This didn't bother us. The breakfast was really good and the wait staff serving were excellent.

Great Hotel Choice
The location of this hotel cannot be better! Across from the train station and easy access to trams and buses. Very friendly staff, small but comfortable rooms, good breakfast choices. I would definitely stay here again if in Basel.

What a pleasant surprise. The location of the property is perfect to catch a Tram to anywhere in Basel and right across from the train station to travel to other cities in Switzerland. The breakfast is delightful in a beautiful traditional Bavarian style room. We would stay here again if we returned to Basel.
