Nice hotel, but...
The hotel was nice, but a bit far from most of the things we wanted to do. The hotel staff was very good, and the room was very clean. The daily breakfast was awesome ! Our only complaint (not the fault of the hotel) was that there was a music festival taking place that weekend a block away and the music was incredibly loud until 2:00am. This made for 2 very difficult days for tours after getting 4 hours of sleep each night. I would not stay at this hotel again, unless we knew there was no music festival taking place over the weekend.

Couple Stay
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was ok, kind of small, but ok for a couple. Pool was VERY small, not a swimming pool. Breakfast was very pricey for what you get. They had the same thing everyday. The City noise was VERY loud. Friday and Saturday night there was a band playing in the street until after 2am. There was no sleeping until 3 or 4 am. Crazy for most of us. Even the inside of the hotel was loud during the night with people coming in and slamming doors. We made the best of it. It wasn’t the worst. I do like the coffee in the lobby, and again, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sercotel Amister is located in a residential area and away from the hustle. It is still quite convenient with many local restaurants, shops and Mercat del Ninot around the area. The room's were quite bright and spacious. Apart from the noisy AC unit we don't have any complains.

The staff at the Sercotel were very friendly and accommodating. The airline lost my luggage and the Sercotel provided me with the toiletries that I needed. It was a very comfortable stay.

The staff, particularly Luz on the day shift at the front desk, was great! Comfortable beds, very clean room, nice amenities. We recommend the Bona Sort Bar/Restaurant just down the street to the left as you come out the front door. Great service, food, and drinks, reasonably priced.

Sercotel was a fantastic stay, the bed was very comfortable and the rooms were a great size! The pool is on the smaller side but it’s perfect for escaping the heat to cool down Reception staff are amazing and very welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Barcelona, definitely recommend booking here 👌

Great stay, exactly what we were expecting. Rooftop pool small but sufficient for a cooling dip and play with the kids. Accommodating for breakfast for my daughter who is gluten intolerant (we let them know in advance). Buffet breakfast adequate for setting up for the day. Free water can be obtained from.the gym. Staff helpful with directions, getting taxis etc (although then realised a taxi rank right outside). Plenty of great eateries within a 10/15 min walk.

Great hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean but the airconditioning is rubbish. When I complained I was told the Spanish government restrict it to 27 degrees but I can see that doesn’t apply to individual rooms so it feels a bit deceitful to tell me that. If you can sleep in hot temperatures this is a great place to come

We enjoyed a comfortable 1 night stay in a Triple room. Breakfast was very good. Its a nice modern hotel in a good area, 20 mins walk from some of the main streets. The roof terrace is nice to sit out on, though the pool is very small. Would be nice to cool down in though.
