Nice hotel with great amenities in a nice area full of shopping, bars, cafes, and markets. This hotel ha no sir conditioning in the winter months and the room got warm, but the window can be opened. I had a 5th floor room. the towels are quite small but maybe I am just spoiled. Super nice staff and the solarium pool was a welcome site. The free airport shuttle was very convenient. This hotel is a great option as it's near the airport and in a great neighborhood for shopping and dining.

Stayed here to position ourselves for easy access to Barcelona airport for our flight the following day using the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. The hotel was nice inside and the staff was exceptional. Our room was very warm and the cooling system was only blowing warm air despite setting the temperature at the lower limit of 19 degrees (it was 24 degrees in the room and we opened the window to cool it down to no effect). The staff was superb in quickly finding us a new room on the same floor that was much cooler. The manager explained that mid-Nov is a challenging time given the weather and some guests indicate they are cold, and others too hot. The front desk clerk told us they turn the air conditioning off and the heat on at this time of year. This would explain why the room's climate control system didn't allow us to tailor the room temperature to our individual needs as much as in other hotels. Bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the breakfast was good. The online reviews, photos, and the price created an impression that this would be an upscale hotel. While nice, it is located on the edge of an industrial area that flows into residential and first impressions were mixed. The online photo of the pool suggests that it is huge, but it is actually much smaller. There are lots of lower to mid-range restaurants nearby, a grocery store and other shops. We didn't try the hotel restaurant for dinner as the reviews were not great. Not sure we would stay again.
