Fabulous living areas and furnishings, and a fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful Grandfather Mountain view, especially from the covered firepit deck. Wildlife views—this house is surrounded by woods with deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and even an occasional bear. And a PRIVATE FRONT-YARD SLEDDING HILL!!!

SERENITY is located near the base of the quiet side of Sugar Mountain, at only 4200' elevation. Walk 700 yards to the Ski Lodge or ride the free ski shuttle from the bus stop 100 yards from the front door. It is far enough away from the ski runs to avoid the snow-making noise and the bright, night-skiing lights. Leave your skis and boots in our large ski locker in the ski lodge Members room and get those first tracks on fresh snow.

SERENITY is a single-level house with three large bedrooms separated for privacy and two bathrooms. Enjoy the gas-log fireplace and new SMART 55” TV in the large vaulted-ceiling living room from the sectional sofa with two reclining sections. Six people sleep comfortably in stationary beds, plus there is a trundle bed with a quality mattress for the 7th person. Enjoy cocktails or morning coffee on the large, covered North deck in the four comfortable chairs around the fire pit table while admiring the great view of Grandfather Mountain. Build family memories in the adjacent dining room around the eight-person dining table, under a coffered ceiling and antler chandelier. Cook your meals in the fully stocked modern kitchen with a new stainless-steel dishwasher, refrigerator, airfry-convection range/oven, microwave oven, coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, plus matching dishware, silverware, utensils, and pots and pans. Or barbecue on the new gas barbecue on the front deck. Have a casual breakfast or coffee in the breakfast nook around the four-chair table under a small antler chandelier or choose the other four-person table on the second covered outdoor South deck. Stay comfortable because of the new central heating and air conditioning with the digital thermostat. Park your car in the attached garage or park all your cars on the driveway. Keep your clothes clean and dry using the washer and dryer in the separate laundry room. Naturally, WIFI is included.

The SERENITY floor plan gives everyone plenty of privacy at night. Sleep like royalty in the spacious, vaulted ceiling KING SUITE with a king-size bed and plush mattress and watch the SMART 42” wall-mounted TV. Enjoy the oversized en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, large lavatory counter and a hidden toilet. The large walk-in closet has room for all your gear plus extra blankets and a variety of pillows. The KING SUITE is separated from the QUEEN bedroom by the kitchen for privacy.

Sleep on the queen size bed with a fantastic plush mattress in the QUEEN bedroom. Store your gear in the walk-in closet, which has extra blankets and pillows. Enjoy en-suite access to the second bathroom which has a tub/shower, lavatory, and toilet. Enjoy the quiet nights because the QUEEN bedroom is separated from the PRINCE/PRINCESS bedroom by the bathroom and closets for privacy.

Your children will love the PRINCE/PRINCESS bedroom with its Spruce bunk/trundle bed with three new mattresses. There is plenty of room for their gear in the walk-in closet which also has extra blankets and pillows. If anyone needs to work, there is a small wood desk and desk chair and a wireless printer is stored in the dresser.

SERENITY keeps getting better. We have made yearly improvements to the house since it was purchased in summer 2021. This year we have a new SMART 55" TV, a new air-fry/convection range/oven, new ceiling fans and lights fixtures, new door hardware, new kitchen paint, and a new barbecue. Last year we remodeled a bathroom, added new kitchen hardware, and built a new retaining wall.

SERENITY is "value-priced" because the rest of your ski vacation will be expensive enough. We try to keep our rent low enough to fill the house with happy guests. When you book directly through Resort Realty and Rentals, you get lower weekday rates so you can enjoy the uncrowded weekday skiing at Sugar Mountain, and on every return visit we offer you a 10% "return-guest" discount.

3. No smoking of any kind is allowed anytime, anywhere in the house or on the decks. Keep this house smelling great!!
4. Pets are not allowed.
5. No events, receptions, or parties. No unregistered guests.
6. No check-in Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
7. Sign your rental agreement within 7 days of booking. A rental agreement will be emailed to you.
