Do not stay in this hotel!!!!!
The room condition was super bad. Room with cockroaches. Cochroaches can be found in toilet, kitchen and bedroom. Told the staff in the morning and they promised us that they will clean our room properly. When we came back at night, we still able to see cockroaches running around. Overall, strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel.

The At Ease Saladaeng was amazing. We loved our room and its view, we loved the inside structure of the hotel, we loved the shower and bathtub, and we loved the air conditioning!!! It's in a perfect location and all of the staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again anytime.

I stayed for 3 and a half weeks and had a very enjoyable stay. Staff at the front desk always welcoming with a warm smile and helpful. The hotel and rooms are a bit run down, but everything is very clean and housekeeping does a great job everyday. Pool is a bit small, but gym is bigger and more comprehensive than I ever imagined. There wasn’t a time I needed to queue or come back later. Free laundry machines at basement, always available. Just rmb to get your own detergent at 7-11 just around the corner. Around 10-12 min walk to either side (Lumphini station / sala daeng station), very walkable. Lots of food options nearby.

Pros: facility has very nice amenities that makes travelling and convenient for travellers solo or family. From the gym that has many machines, a total of 13 including treadmills and free weights. I think that’s a really nice thing to have while travelling and not having to pay ridiculous gym fees at gyms nearby (600 bahts for single entry). It also has in house washer dryer that you can wash your clothes anytime you like. The pool and the saunas are really good option to just relax on days you don’t want to go out. They even have an umbrella in your room. That’s quite thoughtful I think. Cons: people smoking at the pool. I think there should be a separate are for people smoking that’s not at the pool. First there are kids and non smokers accessing the pool. As a former smoker, it’s just disrespectful and it stinks. Second the room ACs are located right above the pool so you can smell the smoke in your room. There were days I woke to the stinking cigarette smell. I was not impressed. Again as a former smoker, it’s very distrusting and disrespectful to other people. I hope management read my comment and this comment and deal with it. Another issue is the safe in the room is broken. It’s there but there is no lock mechanism. I didn’t feel comfortable with that due to the reason anyone can enter and leave the hotel. Over all, I give 8 stars due to the smoking situation.

Affordable, very livable room. Free water in reused eco bottles every day and clothes drying racks. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of range. The service was above this price bracket. The room did have bugs. 10/10 will go again
