I recently stayed at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. First and foremost, reaching the front desk was incredibly challenging. Despite numerous attempts to get assistance, it felt as though no one was available to help with our concerns. We also requested towels several times after our initial concerns, but they were never delivered. Additionally, our toilet stayed running throughout our stay. Despite informing the front desk multiple times and being assured that maintenance would address the issue, no one ever showed up. The most frustrating issue occurred when we lost power for an entire night, leaving us without heat. This was especially uncomfortable, as the temperature dropped significantly. To make matters worse, the heat broke down completely after that, forcing us to sleep in our parkas just to stay warm. While the location of the resort is ideal, the inconvenience we experienced far outweighed any benefits. Given the lack of support and the major issues with power, heating, and basic amenities, I would recommend looking for alternative accommodations. Unfortunately, Banff Rocky Mountain Resort did not meet our expectations and significantly impacted our trip.

This is a place where no one wants to stay in, even for a day. The followings are just some of the bad sides of this property. 1) No Smart TV, meaning that no YouTube, and the likes. 2) Dirty and extremely old rugged carpet flooring. 3) Old and dirty Towels in both Bathrooms 4) Only One cup Coffee packet 5) No Bed covering for the Sofa Bed 6) Extremely dirty Sofa. 7) Extremely Dirty Bedrooms. 8) No locks on both bedroom doors, meaning you will have no privacy and security when you are in your bed. Room smelled musty, sleeper sofa dirty , room is old, needs updated. Toilet leaked all night, had to sleep with doors closed. Air didn’t work well. Expensive breakfast otherwise had to drive to get food and coffee.
