Didn't resemble the photos, was more out of date than expected. Bed was dirty, the floor was sticky. The fireplace didn't have any wood. Guests above us were noisy early in the morning. Exterior was nice, felt like we were in a village.

As a repeat customer, we were disappointed on the condition of the room. The entire stay was marred by a musty smell that we masked with candles and open windows. Minor things like broken dishwasher door and dirty salt and pepper shakers left us disappointed. Final nail was the pot smoker outside under our stairs. We have had multiple stays that were memorable but this one was not.

Scenery around the resort is wonderful. Tunnel Mountain right across the street. Downtown Banff is a little too far to walk. The hotel does offer a shuttle. The rooms themselves look old, and could use some upgrading. The amout of dust build-up in our room was concerning.

I liked that the hotel was a 5 min drive from the township. The seclusion was great, and if you wanted to be around more just a quick shuttle away from the downtown section. Would definitely stay there again. One note - perhaps have the gym open before 8 am. For myself as a early riser and dealing with a time change difference. I was disappointed to not be able to get into the gym at 6am.

I love how the rooms are like private residences. They were all nice, my only dislike is that the rooms had an old musty smell, could possibly be the rugs, they should be removed. Other than that it was all good.

We liked the location of the resort. It is situated a few kms. out of the townsite of Banff. That way it was quiet and safe. The reason we booked it is that it has a swimming pool and 2 hot tubs, which our grandsonns enjoyed. The suites still have carpet and old furniture, and both were dirty. Plus the appliances are old and the stove top burners are dirty. In general the place just wasnt clean. For the price we paid per night we expected a much better experience.

The staff was excellant. The resturant definitely needs more staff. The prices are high for the food you get. The staff were exceptional but are overworked, trying to take care of seated customers as well as order pic ups, along with answering the phone. We were borderline on getting up and walking out.
