The room was filthy.The room had empty containers on the floor under the beds under the dressers and found two dirty cones one on top of the coffee pot and one on the bathroom sink.The shampoo and soap bottles where empty in the shower.Also there was hair on the shower walls and a empty cupcake rapper behind the toilet.

The entire hotel smelled of weed. Everywhere we went, the smell was present... not fun for us, especially traveling with young children. We were on the fifth floor and the hallway reeked of weed... thankfully, our room did not. Every valet person smelled of weed as well. It got old after a while. I had requested a refrigerator prior to checking in and received an email from the FOM that it would be in the room. It wasn't. We had to wait a while to get it, which caused us to be late getting out the door. I took a shower and no blow dryer for my hair. I called down to the front desk asking if rooms came with one, but ours didn't. My husband had to go downstairs and the front desk agent said none were available. He ended up getting one from a lady getting ready to check in who said she didn't need it. The breakfast was absolutely dismal with terrible offerings. I've never gone to a hotel and seen a huge tub of communal butter on the counter. Thank goodness for fruit. There wasn't coffee the last day we were there. I went to the ice machine to fill our bucket- it looked like it had never been cleaned.This is a very strange property that's trying to be upscale but has a lot of issues. The people working were generally nice, but it doesn't make up the fact that we smelled weed for two days straight staying there.The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy. We stayed at the Strawbridge Suites last year and we agreed it was a better property. We will not return to the Sonesta.

I’ll never stay anywhere else in Baltimore
We came to Baltimore to see a couple of Billy Strings concerts. It only took us 2 minutes to walk to CFG Bank Arena from the hotel. The room was well maintained and extremely clean, and the hotel staff did their jobs to perfection. Every single person who worked there was friendly and knowledgeable, which is a rarity. We couldn’t have been happier with the hotel, and this is the only place I’ll stay at when visiting Baltimore in the future.

Hotel was really nice for the price and location. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The bathroom hooks to you Bluetooth for music, that’s a nice touch. Only thing not good was the breakfast very little choice and the bagels available were stale. But I would stay there again for sure I’ll just go out for breakfast.

Chris on 2nd shift is AMAZING
Amazing staff and service here! Chris on night shift was amazing!! My coworkers and I watched him help a customer on the phone and check in five people all with a smile on his face and without missing a beat!! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Baltimore!
