I stayed for 1 night at Madra Rua and the place was excellent. The owners were fantastic and done anything they could to make you comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and there were plenty of choices. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area exploring the North coast of Ireland as i was. Its rural and safe which i needed as a lone traveller on a motorbike. The everlasting memory for me will be the hospitality of both Clara and Germãn which was second to none, oh, and not forgetting the home made muffins. Love from Scotland, Stevie

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Madra Rua. The breakfasts were excellent and we found it a perfect location from which to explore the Inishowen Peninsula. Comfortable beds and we had a great view of the bay. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay.
We loved our stay at Madra Rua. Everything about it is excellent...the room, the organic bedding and toiletries, the breakfast and of course the friendly hosts. Their attention to detail is very special. This made our time in this lovely B&B very comfortable. Thankyou Clara and Germain. We hope to return soon for more pampering.

Couldn't have been better
The room with immaculate, the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Made us feel at home. Gave us some tips on where we should go. We would have missed some amazing places if we had not talked to Magdalena about it. Even though we got their late in the evening she offered us tea or coffee and sat down and talk to us about what we wanted to do and what we were going to see. Breakfast was also amazing. The only thing wrong is we didn't stay long enough.

Bed and breakfast accommodation outside Ballyliffin in an area of scenic beauty. Wonderful hosts who repeatedly checked if there was anything they could do. Appreciated tea and muffin on arrival. Good breakfast each morning. My room a double twin had a private external bathroom. The accommodation was spotless.

This B&B was just fantastic. The host, greeted us as we arrived. She made us fresh coffee and homemade muffins. She was very friendly and showed us right to our room which was spotlessly clean. They had everything you could need in the room too. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have had in a long time. Host was Spanish, along side of English breakfast , Spanish omelette was also on other, so delicious and was exceptionally friendly also. Overall, I couldn’t fault .

What a lovely welcome from German and Clara and a beautiful place to stay. The most comfortable bed ever and a very satisfying nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and my wife and I will without doubt stay here again. Would definitely recommend the Madra Rua! Will stay longer next time.

Home from home
Clara is a wonderful welcoming host. Her organic breakfast was really delicious. We loved her home made yogurt&granola and specialty the Spanish omelet. All the amenities were organic, even bed linen. Our room was spotless. The location was very convenient to visit at the top end of Inishowen. If we were coming back to Inishowen again Madra Rua would be our first choice.
