This is such a handy hotel when i need to be close to work. Quiet on the 18th floor and a good night's sleep on very comfortable pillow. The bathroom is basic but adequate.

Worst service ever in Hotels, even regional hotels treat better. I booked for 2 nights, assuming that rooms will be good. But terrible bedding and fan which run same speed even if you have 3 speed option. I have to stay near fan for any air. I have showed it to receptionist he saw and said he can’t help me. And thought I have to sleep in same room with sweating and where your wifi doesn’t work. Wifi is tooo slow where I cannot use my laptop. I have to vacate in same moment and find really good places with same budget. I always recommend not to choose Ibis Budget Auckland. Horrible ever experience and Customer Service sucks.

The rooms were not as shown in pictures, rather old. Kitchen didn’t have plates mugs and cutlery. The showers were too small and uncomfortable! Again pics make the rooms look much bigger when they’re not.

Staff were good. However, being close to central city was all the hotel had going for it. Bathroom was smelly, dirty, mouldy, very outdated, significant water damage and some mould etc. Bedroom was dirty, strange smell and also outdated, blinds were stained and dirty and walls dirty. Suppose ya get what ya pay for..

Good place for self-catering holiday. Room was a miniature studio apartment with a 2 hob cooker (no oven) and a microwave. Unfortunately no pans available for cooking in the room. Room cleanliness is good and staff friendly and helpful.
