The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very clean but our tv didn’t work and the noise was so bad! If staying on a weekend be prepared for it being very noisy with bars and clubs outside. They did upgrade us for our tv not working and money off but the noise is definitely an issue.

Brilliant... albeit during refurb

Ongoing refurb meant I didn't get to sample much of the hotel, but the staff and my room were both great. There are still a few small points for management to consider (noted in the questionnaire left when departing), but hopefully they're taking all this early feedback on board. Location was main reason I booked as it's a perfect base to explore the city and get ferry to waiheke etc, but I will stay here again just for the overall experience.
