Electrical was iffy. Plugged phone charger in and got shocked and lost power. Vue- was nice but had plastic up covering the view Side areas were worn and smelled moldy Staff was kind but didn’t understand English

I love historic style of the hotel ,but elevators needs immediate renovation, we waited for the elevator for 10 minutes each time ,it was very annoying.

Good stay, friendly staff and great comedy show on 3rd floor now. Brighton Park in front is even where the homeless feel safe enough to camp. Overall great place to stay though. Conveniently in middle of the boardwalk. If you wish to save on parking. Then feed the meter long enough to check in and when you check out. Otherwise park in Resorts and get a players card which will make parking $10 currently no matter how long you stay.

Front desk staff should be more welcoming and pleasant to guests. The room could use a little modernizing. Lamps, curtains and bedcovers are outdated. Bathrooms have been updated. Overall the rooms were clean. Parking garage attendant was pleasant and very helpful. Elevators were sooooo slow. People were waiting a long time on EVERY floor!

Claridge is a nice, older hotel. Check in line 6pm 8/24/24 took us about 20 min to check in. Bank of 5-6 elevators seemed unable to meet demands of guests. Check out 8/25 11am from 12th floor took approx 10 min to get an elevator. Staff on the floor offered the service elevator to us. In short, somebody at hotel needs to review elevator programming. Room was nice, clean. View from room window overlooked glass roof of indoor pool with 3 sheets of plywood covering broken glass sections. An old torn construction tarp laying at the base of the windows added to a trashy looking rooftop, included old chairs, old Milkcrates, old cinder blocks, all which distracted from the view of the ocean. Would be nice to see mgmt and maintenance spend just a few hours making it a bit more appealing. My 2 cents

Property needs major upgrading. Most of the elevators were not working, and being on the 8th floor we spent way too much time waiting for elevators and took a lot of stairs. Floors are dirty, windows and carpets and general atmosphere just very old and run down. Room was clean which was nice, but not having working elevators on a busy weekend was way too inconvenient

Our room was very outdated and had multiple issues. Half of the outlets in the room did not work. There was no tv remote in our room. We had to wait an hour for someone to bring us a remote. Our shower door was also missing a knob and was not on the track correctly which is dangerous since it’s glass. Maintenance had to fix it but could not fix any of the outlets that wasn’t working. Also the lock on our door did not work. After calling downstairs multiple times and reporting issues to the front desk when checking out all they did was credit me back resort fees of $36. I will stay at a different hotel the next time I go to AC.

We enjoyed the fanciness and style, however, when we arrived even though prepared would have liked a few more things to come with booking the room. I loved the view as did my family and the ease of access to the boardwalk. Paying for parking was more expensive than we would have liked; the rook was nothing to write home about, but we enjoyed it. Would have loved breakfast to be included with how much the room cost itself but can't complain about much. We were expecting more grandness then we got. So overall give it a 4/5.

Enjoyable Stay but not perfect
We really enjoyed the vintage vibe. Lobby was beautiful and the elevators were cool, even if they were unreliable. Check in was less than ideal. No rooms were ready and no planning was done to deal with the lobby filled with waiting families. There's so much they could have done to distract from the situation, yet nothing was done. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The Claridge is connected to Bally's, so you can walk through to the boardwalk, beach, and beach bar. Everything is within walking distance. We never needed our car till check out. Parking was expensive though and hotel does NOT validate. We did not use the pool or gym, but they looked standard. Archade room looked fun. Good size and music pumping. The rooftop lounge was comfortable, staff friendly, and view was awesome. If you want coffee in the morning, go to Starbucks in the lobby. Don't waste your time going to DD at Bally's.
