The good: The customer service was fine. Everybody I spoke with in valet and at the front desk was great and I have no complaints there. The room is actually really spaciousu. The bad: The rooms and amenities are extremely dated. The air wasn’t working properly in our room on the 24th floor. Also the mattress and towels were very hard and not the most comfortable. The ugly: the breakfast buffet was horrible. The waffle maker had so much build up on it. Idk how any continued yo use it. I had to pass on that. When we came back the next day after voicing our concerns to a manager, it was still dirty. The sugar was very hard and barely edible. Condiment bottles were empty. The room had an odd odor too. The air vent in the room was equally filthy. The carpet wasn’t the cleanest. If you have a choice, pick somewhere else. There are better hotels downtown for the same price or better. I probably won’t be back here.

I booked Staybridge Hotel on July 11 for 3 nights stay in October. When my husband and I arrived at the hotel on October 17, at 11.30 pm we were told that due to overbooking they don't have rooms available, and we should contact Expedia to get a refund. When I asked the receptionist what should we do now her response was "I can give you a list of hotels near by". It seamed like they wanted us to leave, they "played" busy and didn't even make an eye contact with us. Another employee (maybe a supervisor) said they texted and called to notify us there was no room available. When I showed her my phone to show that there was no texts or calls she barely looked at it. After we stood there for a while and refuse to leave she said there might be a room in Crowne Plaza hotel but it needed to be clean. At that point it was past midnight and I said we will wait. So, we got the room 1424 at 2.30am and it was not even close to the room that we booked. The worst part was that we found a used needle in the bathroom, which i took pictures of and showed it to the front desk employee. We were told to come back the next day around 9 or 10am so they can switch us to the Staybridge hotel. The next morning we reported to the front desk and we still had to wait almost 4 hours just to be sent to room 2116 which was not cleaned. It s/b be 2016, which was another wait and hassle with all the bags. We had a horrible experience and were told "this happens all the time". I should be refunded my $$

Not very good.
They didn’t have a room available at check in time and we had somewhere to be. When we finally got a room the toilet in the room was filled completely with ice. The hotel phones in the room didn’t work so we had to go back down to reception to tell them about the toilets. The room was clean but the bathroom was extremely run down. Everyone was nice and helpful but it wasn’t a good overall experience.

Upon arrival, it took 30 minutes or more to check in. Only one staff member was present on a Friday night per hotel (Staybridge/Crown Plaza). My room had mold on the AC unit and wall. The mgr was friendly and accommodating however. The hotel is dated. The lobby area appears to be the only update to the hotel unfortunately. Parking was ridiculously expensive. I do not plan to stay here ever again.

I’ll start with the good. The property is in a prime location and a few walkable blocks from action on Peachtree St or a grocery store. The rooms and common areas look good and seemed to be clean. The continental breakfast was good. Despite the good, the bad was overwhelming. I would not stay at this hotel again with my family. The property is poorly managed in critical locations. Starting with the arrival with the valet, we circled the block several times before finding the driveway for Staybridge. We were told to move and use the Crowne Plaza driveway instead - which was not our hotel. After getting to the right place, we spent more than one-hour checking-in at the front desk only to find that our room was not available at Staybridge Suites, the a/c was out in most hotel rooms, and to hear other guests complain of poorly cleaned rooms that had bugs and odors of pet excrement. We finally get a room in the connected Crowne Plaza - it’s clean, no bed bugs, no excrement. But no kitchenette or mini fridge for our family’s milk, drinks, etc. The bathtub poorly drains. The room has no a/c. And for whatever reason, ice machines don’t work on any nearby floors. Some are unplugged. Many of them weren’t there at all. It was a literal Easter egg hunt that I would not have wanted, especially if our stay was in the summer time. Common areas were okay, I guess. Some areas of the hallways had wrinkled carpet and stains on the walls. I will not be staying here again.

When I arrived, I was told to wait over 45 minutes to actually check into my room when it should have been ready. There’s a balcony in the room and advertised however you can’t open it. Housekeeping didn’t fully nor thoroughly clean my room and came in on me as if no one was checked into the room and she apologized and said she wasn’t finished cleaning the room. The room had an odor like a pee smell, stains on the bed, a keychain on the floor. They gave me complimentary breakfast for my troubles but to me that just wasn’t enough. I barely stayed in the room my entire stay until it came time for me sleep. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

It's close to downtown around 15, 20 minutes walk if you want, otherwise quite convenient to experience the downtown business area for food, drink and bar etc of your like.

Staff needs life lessons.
We were a part of the evacuating crowd from Florida and once we saw that we would be very late checking in, i called the front desk to alert them. When we arrived at hotel, the front desk person says that they overbooked and "this is why you dont book 3rd party". I wanted to cry because everywhere else was full. The three people at desk then begin to argue and call each other things and say mean things. They made me feel like a below the ground person begging for a room even though I had prepaid for. Our room had extensive mold in the ac and rips and stains everywhere. Again we were just happy to have a room. Breakfast was a nightmare. We were lead into the weird ballroom that they werent going to refill because it was too close to 930 so there was not silverware and while people were mid line the wprkers began packing line up and making us stop. Again wanted to cry. We were so tired from trying to evacuate from Milton. When turning in key to leave, the front was very unpleasant and again we felt like bottom barrel citizens. The staff there needs lessons on working together and not making their guests feel terrible

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, and the breakfast buffet was good. It was our firs time to Atlanta so we used Uber for transportation. On our next visit I would attempt to walk more. Thanks for a great stay!
