The Sylvan was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! I look forward to staying here again on a future visit when it’s warm and actually being able to utilize the gorgeous swimming pool! Staff was always kind and accommodating.

I enjoyed my stay at this boutique hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was also beautifully decorated and kept clean. Also enjoyed the rooftop bar. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to ATL!

I decided to stay here for a staycation on my birthday because there pet friendly and they advertised great food options, a rooftop bar and restaurant and bath in room and a pool. The only things I liked was the valet and front entrance of the property and that was it. The young lady at checkin with blond hair was dismissive, curt and rude. When I got to my room, it was drab, with a musty smell, subpar cleaning and the view was terrible which I couldve gotten over if there was a bath in the room. I brought my own sheets anyways and wipes. Also the TV was not working. I called the font desk 3 times and again the ladies who answered behaved like I was bothering them and where short with me. So after an hour of trying to get the TV together. I went to front desk. Now there was a young man there who advised that none of the tvs were working. At this point I decided to try and find food at 1 of the many restaurants they advertised but they either werent open or the food selection was subpar. Im not going to even mention the inhouse food selection. After being there almost 2 hours, I packed myself and dog up and left. There was no way I was spending my birthday there! I have already asked for a refund to which Im awaiting a response. At this time I do not recommend

Overall a great property. Kimpton’s rarely disappoint. The grounds were lovely and the interior was tastefully done as well. The rooftop bar was a bit disappointing. Decor and furnishing were bland and no view to speak of. The breakfast in the Betty was fine with the exception of the 1 slice of toast for $7!! Dinner was disappointing. Food was served cool and bland. $50/night KochWould definitely stay again.
