The hotel stay is affordable, but cleanliness is a significant issue. The shared microwave is filthy, and some areas, like the exit door by the elevator, reek of urine. There are also lingering smells of marijuana on certain floors. The front desk experience varies; while most staff are decent and helpful, the morning person (Jay) is consistently rude and lacks customer service skills. A toilet leak required a room change, and the maintenance man was the only staff member who was consistently personable and helpful. However, communication with the housekeeping staff can be difficult as many don't speak English. The hotel grounds are generally clean, aside from litter left by guests.
