Good stay but don’t do the buffet.
The breakfast buffet was NOT worth the amount they charged. No where was it stated the price. Food was cold and not a lot of a selection on fruits. If you do the buffet, at least get the omelet. It will be hot and made to order. There was a shuttle to the park. The tavern on 2nd floor was good for drinks but after a certain time the kitchen was closed.

Few dining options. Disappointing
Our family has stayed at this location multiple times through the years. Our overall stay was wonderful and that place is beautiful. We were, however, shocked by the lack of choices for dining opportunities in the evening on site at the Evergreen. We checked in at about 7:30 PM on Friday and the tavern downstairs was full of people, most of them waiting for a server to even acknowledge them. We sat ourselves because there was no one around and we literally waited for someone to even notice us for 45 minutes and then we just got up and left. We would’ve thought that there would be more opportunities for climbing on a Friday evening at a resort of this quality. We were not the only patrons who were ignored at the tavern downstairs that evening. We went upstairs to the more formal dining area, and they were open and had some patrons but not many, but we were told it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. When we ask if we could get takeout, they told us no. We were relegated to driving offsite into the town of Stone Mountain to get food on Friday evening. It was very disappointing. .

Surprise Expenses to a less than desirable accomod
We ended up leaving a motel in town due to unsafe conditions and reserving Evergreen last minute. The room was clean but felt damp and temperature not well controlled. The tub did not drain properly which made taking showers for 4 people a challenge. Be aware of the sur charges! The hold put on your card at the property will not be refunded!! A $42.50 property fee is assessed nightly and is not disclosed when booking. Also the $20 parking and entrance fee is not disclosed when booking. Overall, the confidence of a safe location with children is worth the expense, but know that the charges for this property are more than they appear and the accomodations are not perfect.

Beautiful place to stay, enjoyed every part of it other than there is no pamphlet for the joint, no info about when things open and close, and when we went to ask someone, they said they didn’t have any info on the place at all??? Otherwise very clean and a great place to be! Also no room service.

This particular stay was my 2nd. It was for a special occasion to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Our stay was relaxing and fun. The ambiance of the lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas 🎄. The staff was warm welcoming and accommodating to our every need. I will definitely book again and again! I am officially a frequent resident ❤

What an amazing resort. Our room was updated and was extremely clean. The staff was pleasant and the amenities were abundant. Multiple pools, a functional gym, and several locations for food and drinks. My only complaint is they are cashless otherwise it was a WONDERFUL STAY!

The rooms very spacious with a balcony with a view of the lake. However; there was no microwave in the rooms. This was disappointing. I had to go to the lobby to use the one they had. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Hiking trail was beautiful and scenic. Small fitness room. 2 out if 3 treadmills out of order. Starbucks machine broken. Only regular coffee. Too many taxes on everything. Georgia tax; bed tax, tax on restaurant food, resort tax. I was completely taxed out. $190 for 2 days. Will I go back? NO!!

The location is really good, beautiful lake, and inside the park but the service was poor, unfriendly atmosphere, room service is every other day, don’t really clean the room very good and the bathroom, and most especially I saw additional charges in my accnt. that I didn’t get in their little store. Food was very limited yet expensive. I love hotel.com and never had a problem with the other booking I did before but this one was not a smooth sailing. I will consider this as a bad experience.
