overall, good
house was quite adequate. Really just wanted a rental for space & flexibility, we did not cook, something better than hotel room. Much better than hotel !! Sure enough, granddaughter's family needed a place to crash after wedding rehearsal dinner at 10:00pm. We had space & glad to share. We had a nice stay!!!

Wonderful Overnight Stay
Our family stayed overnight at McKinley house on our way to Colorado. The house was perfect for our two small kids and was located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We will definitely be booking this property again.

Nice Host, major issues with VRBO
Not even sure if this will be published, but here goes... Let me start by saying this is a lovely, clean, spacious property in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Host was nice and accommodating. All that aside.... I booked another property weeks in advance for our family to come for my niece's birthday party. Home was canceled last minute due to a conflict with multiple booking sites?? Not sure how this happens. In my haste to find another booking, I found a home that accommodated the number I needed, but inadvertently did not change the number of guests when I booked. Due to the fact I stated I was booking a house for eight people for only one, I violated the policy. I get that. But since the owner did not think they could contact me outside the vrbo site and the fact that I do not have real time alerts turned on for vrbo app, our booking was canceled and the property was locked down with our belongings (and even my vehicle) inside. All it would have taken is a text message, email or call for me to realize my mistake and to pay any additional fees necessary. Which I was HAPPY to do. It was an oversight, and a mistake I had never made before. I must give credit to the owner for speaking to me in person and resolving the situation. He explained that the cancelation was as a result of his trying to resolve things through the proper channels and not his desire to makes us feel like criminals. This will definitely make me look elsewhere (not this site) for bookings.

Great Place!
This place was easy to find. We arrived late at night and it was so easy to just park and get inside. The house was super clean and instantly felt like we could just relax and head to bed. It is a well cared for home and that always makes it more welcoming. We only stayed one night and left early the next morning and there were a handful of neighbors already exercising outside. They were very friendly and connective! I definitely would recommend staying here. It really was great!

Very nice home. Enjoyed the pool and the house. But turning the air conditioner on 1 hour prior to check in during 105 degree weather did not allow enough time for the house to cool prior to our arrival. The house was 90 degrees inside when we arrived and took until late night before the house cooled down.

Quiet and close
Quiet neighborhood in south Amarillo, easy to get to TX A&M and Amarillo. Everything is easy and clear. Perks include really sweet back porch fire pit and swimming pool, and garage. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet yet close rental.

Family Spring Break Getaway
Took a few days to see the sights in Amarillo. Super clean house that was just right for the three of us. Easy to get to and easy to communicate with the host. Would stay there again when in the area!

Lovely home
Great host and beautifully decorated home. Bed was fantastic. It was winter when we stayed here, so we wish there was some grass in the backyard for our pup but not a big deal. Will likely stay here again (maybe when we can use the pool).

Very clean home with a few surprises
Clean, modern retro furnishings with a swimming pool surprise. Loved the old record player/console stereo and photos. Was even welcomed back with a note from the owners after our stay at one of their other properties.
