This mini group tour of half-day in Aptera, shows you the archaeological site and offers you fun & education with a painting & greek calligraphy workshop. At the end you will have your own ancient art, to bring it home. First, will explore together the ancient site of Aptera, wander around the Roman ruins, the roman baths, the ancient theatre, the old church with the abandoned monastery and more around. After the tour, you will have the unique opportunity to participate an about one-hour workshop, painting ancients & learn ancient greek calligraphy by Lena Septemvri, Greek calligrapher. You will learn the ancient greek alphabet, and you will write words, phrases & your name in ancient greek letters. Supplies included. At the last part of our trip you will taste delicious traditional cretan food and sweets and you will experience the cretan hospitality in a village close to Aptera.
