Lovely property that was right in the middle of the most touristy area of town, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Checkin and checkout were a breeze. The rooms were family style with 2 separate hotel rooms and an adjoining small foyer. It was a great solution to traveling with our 2 kids. We actually would have had enough space for 5 with the extra bed they set up and the 2 queen beds. The breakfast was amazing and we were treated so nicely by the attendant. Would most definitely repeat of we returned.

Hi, the lobby and the lobby bathroom is very small so it is a bit inconvenient to change clothes if you are coming directly from your flight prior to check-in. Other than that, I have only positive things to say. Very spacious rooms. Modern bathrooms. Excellent service at the front desk. Great area.

We liked everything the Boutique Helmhaus Hotel has to offer, from the exceptionally warm reception of the staff to the delicious breakfast buffet to the convenience of the location (to tram and trains, and to various sites along the Limmat River, enabling us to see as much of Zurich Old Town as possible in less than a day). Staying at Helmhaus made a great start to our 1-week Switzerland adventure.

This hotel is not as advertised the location is good and the staff are nice the rooms are old and need a refurb if give this hotel a 2 star rating I feel ripped of i did not sleep for nights and moved room 3 times

Staff was very helpful and pleasing. One of the bathrooms in the room was very small. Part of the ceiling was low which meant we have to be careful while walking around. Elevator is too small which means multiple trips with luggage. Hotel is very close to tram stop which helps. It is located within old town and shopping areas.

We loved this place, so delightful! We all were able to sleep well, great location for walking around the Old Town. The only issue was parking and getting our luggage to and from. We appreciated the staff and would love to return one day!
