## Neighborhood

The elongated beach of Zandvoort offers many beach clubs where you can eat and drink in the summer. You can relax on a beach bed, enjoy nature, dip your feet in the sand or take a lovely walk. In winter, less Beach clubs are open, but you can still come and enjoy the sometimes wild sea and beautiful nature.
Zandvoort is also called "Amsterdam Beach" because you can get to Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes by train! The hustle and bustle of the city just around the corner and an accommodation where you can relax and enjoy the beach and nature.
The Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen are two National Parks where you can take beautiful walks and cycle tours.
Would you like to experience a sporty day? Then there are plenty of possibilities such as: mountain biking, learning to kite or wave surf, getting your PADI, sailing or horse riding.
Circuit Park Zandvoort is situated at the edge of Zandvoort, surrounded by dunes and beach. You can visit various events there such as the world famous Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort and the ADAC GT Masters.

Great Stay in Zandvoort
The Sunbeam apartment in Zandvoort was amazing. Our family had the best time. The views were absolutely stunning. We would watch the surfers and kite surfers from the living room every day. We honestly did not wan to leave. The apartment was huge and had lots of space for everyone to spread out. The location was perfect, On the beach with great views and just south of the shops and restaurants bordering the neighborhood. The Smiling host property managers were extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions for Zandvoort and the region. We have stayed in many VRBO in the past and this apartment was one of the best. Thank you for having us.

Great beach vacation while visiting Amsterdam
Loved the property and location. Mid September water temp was brisk but not too cold to get a swim in. The beds were nice and comfy, the rooms were big and airy and the beach views were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Lage und Größe des Maisonette-Apartments sind absolut perfekt. Es ist ruhig. Man hört nichts von Nachbarn. Der Gaskamin im Wohnzimmer machte eine schöne Atmosphäre. Die Betten sind bequem, allerdings nur je mit einem dickeren Kopfkissen ausgestattet. Auch gab es für 7 Nächte pro Bett lediglich ein kleines und ein größeres Handtuch. Weitere können nur gegen Aufpreis gebucht werden. Die Treppe in den oberen Stock ist sehr steil und eng und die Stufen sind kurz. Obacht! Das Zimmer mit den 2 Einzelbetten (90/100 cm breit) hat keinen Schrank, keinen Kleiderständer, keine Wand- oder Türhaken. Es ist eine Nespresso und keine Senseo Maschine vorhanden. Wie so häufig ist es die Summe der kleinen Dinge, die nicht stimmig sind für einen Preis von fast 500 EUR die Nacht, die den Gesamteindruck trüben. So war leider kein Tisch auf dem Balkon sowie nur 4 Stühle. Das Sammelsurium von (Werbe-)Gläsern und Becher (Exemplare von Ikea mit fehlender Glasur innen und relativ gute von Hema) war enttäuschend. Die Sauberkeit auf Fensterbänken, den Stuhlkissen und den Fußleisten kann verbessert werden. Beide Toilettensitze waren nicht ordentlich montiert und wackelten. Im unteren separaten WC gibt es keinen Haken für ein Gästehandtuch. Die Duschtür im oberen Bad hat keine Wand- oder Bodenabschlusslippe, so dass Wasser fast immer in den Raum läuft. Unter den Sofakissen und in den Polsterecken war schon länger nicht gesaugt worden. Wie gesagt, gezahlter Preis prägt Erwartungshaltung.

Nie wieder Buchung von SmilingHost
Nach der Bezahlung des vollständigen Betrags, 2 Wochen vor Reiseantritt die Nachricht "Bauarbeiten am Objekt, kein Balkon, kein Meeresblick". Wir wurden für den gleichen Preis auf ein alternatives Objekt umgebucht in der Stadtmitte (Radhuisplein 4C). Die Bilder sehr vielversprechend. Geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit viel Tageslicht, herrschaftliche Zimmer, etc. Vor Ort dann nach und nach Ernüchterung. Die Jalousien der großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht. Dadurch wurde das Wohnzimmer (gleichzeitig Essbereich und Küche) bei 17° Außentemperatur zu einem Gewächshaus mit 28° Hitze. Da die Agentur fußläufig erreichbar war sind wir hingegangen und haben um Hilfe gebeten. Antwort "Wir klären das und schicken Ihnen eine Mail mit Hilfe". Diese Mail kam nie. Glücklicherweise sanken die Außen- und damit auch die Innentemperaturen nach 2 Tagen auf ein erträgliches Maß. Beim Checkout wurde die Dame der Agentur auf Ihre Frage "War denn alles O.K.?" erneut darauf hingewiesen. Zudem auf weitere, für den Objektpreis völlig unangemessene Schäden. Der Ofen so verfettet, dass er aufgrund von Qualm nicht brauchbar ist. Badezimmerfließen, Duschkabine, Badewanne und Waschbecken verdreckt, gesplittert, verrostet und verkalkt. Böden und Oberflächen extrem dreckig. Mehrfach darauf angesprochen/geschrieben war die knappe Antwort, gegen das Wetter könne man nichts machen und der Zustand des Objekts ist nun mal vom Besitzer so übergeben worden. Eine versprochene Kompensation haben wir nie erhalten.

Top Lage mit Haken
Die Lage des Objektes ist toll, keine Frage. Aaaber, die Wohnung war so staubig, die Vormieter hatten schon Texte in den Staub geschrieben. Die Gläser und Tassen standen im Staub. Der Küchenboden war dreckig. Auch die Kommunikation ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten die Info, dass das Parken im Mietpreis dabei ist, dem war leider nicht so. Und wir hatten einige Diskussionen wegen der Parkkarte. Die freie Aussicht auf das Meer macht leider nicht alles wett.

Es war für uns ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Zandvoort. Dazu beigetragen hat die schöne Wohnung. Es stimmte hier alles. Die Einrichtung, der Blick zum Meer, den man vom Esstisch, im Sessel oder Bett genießen konnte. Wir haben zwar nicht gekocht, aber es ist in der Küche alles vorhanden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall in diesem Jahr versuchen die Wohnung noch einmal zu buchen. Familie Wagener

Wir verbrachten hier eine tolle Woche. Da wir nur 3 Personen waren, hatten wir mehr als ausreichend Platz. Die Lage ist wirklich super und der Ausblick ist großartig. Da wir vieles zu Fuß erledigt haben, war es auch nicht schlimm, dass der Parkplatz 500m entfernt ist. Die Ausstattung lässt kaum Wünsche offen - auch in der Küche, allerdings gibt es keine Gewürze oder Öl... Selbstversorger sollten als etwas mitbringen oder in den zahlreichen Supermärkten in der Umgebung einkaufen. Natürlich gibt es immer etwas, das besser sein könnte. Zum Beispiel sind die zahlreichen Sitzmöbel mit Stoff bezogen und haben daher auch Flecken. Auch die ein oder andere Boden-Randleiste fehlt oder ist schlecht befestigt. Die Glasscheibe über der Badezimmertür der unteren Etage fehlt... aber das sind alles keine schlimmen Mängel und trübten den Aufenthalt nicht. Mit einer kleinen Investition des Eigentümers, wäre diese Unterkunft im Handumdrehen wieder perfekt. Wir können das Appartement auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Wouw, besser kann ein Appartment in Zandvoort nicht liegen. Der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmern und den oberen Schlafzimmern : Top !! Wenn mann ein Haar in der Supe suchen möchte ist das vielleicht das etwas zu dunkle obere Badezimmer. Aber unten gibt es ja ein zweites. 1A !!

Schönes Ferienwohnung in super Lage
Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Sunbeam Appartment sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist groß, geräumig und modern. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern (auch über WhatsApp) lief reibungslos ab. Vom Appartment aus erreicht man den Strand in ein paar Schritten - ein Traum! Einzige problematische Aspekte: Wenn 6 Leute gemütlich im Wohnzimmer sitzen möchten, muss man improvisieren. Es kann nur ein Auto auf dem nahegelegenen Parkplatz parken, die nächsten kostenlosen Parkplätze sind ca. 15 min zu Fuß entfernt. Insgesamt ist das Appartment sehr sauber und gepflegt, allerdings waren die Fenster im größten Schlafzimmer von außen sehr dreckig, was den schönen Blick aufs Meer beeinträchtigt hat. Alles allerdings „Meckern auf hohem Niveau“ - wir würden sofort wiederkommen!
