It’s not 4 neither 5 stars. They can’t provide an umbrella during heavy rain season, they can’t provide amenities “because of COVID”. It’s extremely expensive

This is a 5-star hotel, no doubt. The location, staff, restaurant — everything as advertised. I’d gladly stay again. We’re here in the off-season, and I’d bet it’s even better in season!

It’s not a five stars hotel at all. And you have to walk 30 meters to the main door . Because they but tables in front of the main door. Every thing is old

Posh but not living up to its promise
I just stayed here for 1 night in June. It’s an expensive place but I felt it could not live up to the rice tag. I had a beer at the terrace bar whilst waiting until my room was ready. With lots of staff on hand it still took ages to get the bill and I even went to give the money myself as nobody was coming to collect it after 10 minutes. I should have received 2,500 change in Lebanese pound, but was only given 2,000. Maybe they ran out of coins, but nobody told me as English nor French was widely spoken by staff. I booked the hotel as it also had a decent gym. And after 9-10 days of solo travel it would have been nice to exercise a bit. However, the gym was closed as it was Sunday. It should have been mentioned somewhere. Finally, the room was nice and clean. However, I was on the first floor on the side of the terrace. Their was music playing until late in the night, and early morning it started again. Not such a relaxing experience. Overall, I was a bit underwhelmed with my whole experience.
