Smokey night
There was an issue with their furnace start up which resulted in a great deal of acrid smoke. When we contacted the front desk, they did not seem to be concerned nor did they communicate any actions they were taking. I placed towels around the door to our room to help keep the smoke out. When the smoke alarms went off, they finally opened doors and set up ventilation fans. We’ve stayed here before without any problems but will consider other options for our next trip to York.

The bathroom sink and toilet weren't as clean as I would have liked them to be, and Saturday afternoon through the evening, it was noisy around the pool.

Comfortable and Good Breakfast
The staff was very friendly. Our beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was stocked and perfect for our needs. The only downside I would say is that our room did smell of chlorine, but you don't notice it after a couple minutes.

First room rundown bathroom paper holder had been installed crooked. Wall had been poorly patch. No grab bars likely caused this carpet torn and frayed into bath room. Door to room carpet ketches on door so itstays open. This is room 143 the room given to us. But mainly room heated caught fire at 1:30 am woke to room filling with smoke shut power to hearter called desk no one came offered a different room. Had no more accessable rooms got 256 we had to move to it then. Don't think anyone checked out room at all. When we left asked the desk clerk got no info on any thing. No manager guess needs weekends off. Breakfast has gone down a dark road. Stayed hear many times things seem to be going to the dump. Might not want to keep your brand on this place. I realize things break ir short out but a Hotel thats not exicted about smoke coming out of heater into room . Well never heard anything like that. My mistake not calling fire department at the time could still have been burning with out power. God help them if it happens and no one wakes up

The toliet seat was so loose it needed to be tightened with tools. Our room and clothes smelled like pool chlorine since we were facing the pool that was closed during our stay. The water barely got hot. No hand soap was provided. The shower needed better cleaning and the white" blanket" on one bed had small either chocolate or blood stains on it. Could not bring breakfast back to room.
