Family trip to York
What’s not to like? Lovely clean and very quiet apartment with all the amenities you need. Secure private parking, you can see York minster from the front room and it’s about an 8 minute walk away so you’re in an excellent location. Great communication from the host he solved a minor problem as we were leaving extremely fast. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we come to York.

Pleasant, good location but lacking something.
The Viking apartment we stayed in was in a very good location, close to the city center and attractions. We loved that it has private parking which made us feel safe along with the secure entry. It was a pleasant, airy two bedroom apartment with a large kitchen/living room and two good sized bedrooms. The bathrooms were recently updated a delight to use. However it had the air of a student house after the students had just left. There were half full ketchup and olive oil bottles in the cupboard, the fridge was in need of a clean and the coffee maker was definitely in need of care. The china and cutlery were mismatched and chipped and there was a water leak under the sink. The beds were really uncomfortable. Overall the place needs a new coat of paint to cover damage to the walls, and a set of matching crockery/cutlery.

Great property in a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from the Minster & plenty of eating and drinking options nearby. Easy to find, well appointed and secure gated parking. There’s a co-op supermarket literally 50 yards away for groceries and the like, good communications and an ideal place to stay for any trip or visit to York and all of its attractions

Great location and service.
The apartment was in a great location only a few minutes walk from York Minster. We were met by the owner who explained everything we needed to know. Parking is safe and secure in a gated car park under the apartment. We also used a local pay and display car park for an additional vehicle only a minute walk away. The apartment was exactly as advertised and look as it did in the photos. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds. We would not hesitate to stay again, as we could not find fault with any part of our experience.
