Pros:
-The property is set on a lovely piece of ocean front with a wide sandy beach and an expansive view of the horizon. We enjoyed a lovely sunny day on the deck chairs set in front of the beach and some stormy days watching the ocean waves roll in.
-The room was of average upkeep and cleanliness.
-The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure.
- The Pub and restaurant have good food and drink.
- The hotel is very well situated and the surrounding area is beautiful.
Cons:
- A key thing to know is that the main, large building you see in the ads online is one of two buildings that make up this hotel. I assumed from the ads that we would have a room in the large building directly on the oceanfront. Unfortunately we got a room in the building next door with sub par views and more of a 'motel' feel. If you want to stay in the large main building with the better views that you see in the ads and on Expedia, be sure to ask for that.
- The carpet was tired and the drapes in front of the sliding doors were torn and old.
- There was a leak in the bathroom sink that soiled the towels.
- The food at the pub and in the whole town was expensive.
