The room was very nice, Its a shame I was only there for one night. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety but was sufficient for me. A very pleasant experience and stay. I did dine at the attached restaurant for my evening meal but found it rather expensive.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay hotel was very modern and the facilities and staff were attentive. However on our last night we had a broken night due to a wedding party who were noisy and vulgar adjacent to our room. We had to complain about the noise which went on to 3.30am. We were given a refund for our last night but always check if a wedding party is staying as there is a risk as in our case of a noisy crowd ruining what was a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my husband's birthday as he is a keen golfer. The hotel is beauful and the rooms are lovley, clean with beautiful bathrooms. We ate both nights in the Tykes restaurant where the food was unreal. Every single staff member we spoke to were polite, helpful and very effiecient. Big thank you to Alice in the restaurant for looking after us in both night. She is a credit to your team. Another plus side is they are so dog friendly! Highly recommend.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Sandburn Hall and I’m glad to stay that it’s still a fantastic hotel and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the York area. The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are friendly and very welcoming and nothing is any issue for them. The bedroom was cleaned daily and simply can’t be faulted

Lovely place to stay easy access to York for the races then couple of days sightseeing Good restaurant for breakfast and evening meal both of which were very good standard (excellent omelette made by Chef for breakfast on second morning) staff were very friendly helpful and attentive nothing too much trouble. Room 30 was spacious clean and modern lovely big bed and super bathroom loved the fresh milk in the fridge for coffee, beautiful big window with fantastic views.
