I honestly saw the other reviews and thought maybe they could have addressed the concerns. But I stayed there over a week ago and the first thing was the place looked old and worn from the outside. Okay not a problem as long as it is clean and secure for a night sleep. I was disappointed the moment I walked in and I looked down the hallway from the checkin desk and could see the side door wide open. I asked if that door is shut to give security but was answered with no it is always open because it is broken from a storm. It didn’t seem like the storm happened recently. All throughout the halls was dirty things and then I got to the room. The door key did not work right away I even thought I might have to shove the door to open. After multiple tries it open. The room was not horrible. I didn’t think the shower was clean so I didn’t use it but the bed and sheets were clean that I could sleep in the room. There was no strong odors. I would not stay a second time.

Room was basic room just passing through for Sturgis, that being said there was hole in drywall where door handle had smashed through at some point(no dust on carpet so it's been vacuumed at some point) the bathroom light switch was broken off in the on position. Like I said I just needed a place to stop recharge and go, I would probably stay there again next year for the price.

I had stayed at this Motel 6, Christmas of 2022, with no problems. This time, the wash cloth was hanging dirty on the door knob. The sleeping are smelled clean. I had a refreshing, comfortable sleep in the bed. When i went to use the restroom, there was a hole in the floor, water in the bathtub, and the exhaust fan was hanging down from the ceiling. I relayed this information to the desk clerk with understanding that a refund would be forthcoming. I never received one.

The door to our room did not lock properly and appeared broken. The grounds were overgrown and looked vacant. It did not feel safe for my family. In addition, there was a missing light cover, missing freezer cover (freezer was unusable), there was a post missing to hang anything and there were only 2 towels for 4 people.

I didn't like anything. The person who checked us in wasn't friendly at all. I asked for a room close to the exit door because my brother-in-law has COPD and he put him in the middle of the hallway. The ice machine was out of order. The rooms weren't clean and smelled musty. There were cars in the parking lot that were up on blocks needing repairs.

Rooms were dirty beds did not have clean sheets, pillows or stained pillowcases with holes as a mouse had eaten a hole in it stains curtains towels were stained people living in the hotel instead of renting the room nightly TV does does not work. The security doors are left open all night long And flies all in the room very unsatisfied

The place was filthy, both corridors and the room. Bare bones accommodations that met my minimum need while passing through. Towel from previous guest was hanging behind bathroom door. Dirt and curd piled between bed mattress and headboard (noticed while inspecting for any bed bugs, which I didn't find) and along walls on the floor. Luckily bed was clean enough to stay as I was exhausted. Only one towel provided, no other amentities, coffee, etc.

I know this a Motel 6 and was not expecting much but hoped the place would be somewhat clean and safe. I read some reviews and thought this would be a decent place to stay for a quick sleep before we hit the road again. I was wrong. The building is ran down, the rooms were gross and I had stains on my sheets that came from what looked like a great night of romance. The room was filthy, one of the other rooms that we had booked the door looks didn't work and just spun 360 degrees. There was a room that was three doors down that it looked like the cleaning crew was cleaning and then just stopped and left the room door open all night. It was the same way in the morning when we were leaving. The hotel is not in a great place and was a little scary to stay at. Book at your own risk. I would not stay here again.
