The Space:
Gardeners Cottage has a cosy living area with a sofa, a flat screen TV and a log burner. The colour palette is neutral to create a truly relaxing space. Also sharing this space is the dining area where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones.
The kitchen is fully equipped so you can make the most of your self-catering stay. Featuring blue wooden cabinets and white worktops, it has a modern look.
Outside you’ll find a large patio with outdoor seating. Start your day with a morning coffee as you enjoy the peace and quiet. At lunch or evening time, enjoy an alfresco meal with your loved ones. This leads on to the impressive garden which virtually surrounds the entire property.
Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms. Both spaces have comfy mattresses, plush bedding and crisp linens to ensure you get the best night sleep possible. The first bedroom has a king size bed, whilst the second boasts two singles. A double sofa bed is also available downstairs which is permanently made up.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys are accessed via a secure key safe, details of which will be provided prior to your stay.

The Neighborhood:
If you like shopping, you can discover plenty of independent shops in the town of Boroughbridge, which is a short 15-minute drive away from Helperby. Head down to the Butter Market Museum along the cobbled streets and visit the pretty Hall Square.
If you’re looking to simply explore the great outdoors during your visit, the A1(M) is a short drive from Helperby so towns and villages in the area are easily accessible.
In Helperby itself you'll find a great village butcher selling local produce as well as two pubs, one with award winning food.
Getting Around:
You can reach Helperby by road with major road links from the A1(M).
Helperby has bus links with routes to Ripon and Thirsk.
Just a short 17-minute drive from Helperby is Thirsk train station. Here you’ll find routes to York, Leeds, Manchester and London. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
