Walkable to train station and all kinds of foods locations.
Just a few minutes walk from Yilan train station, this hotel is much cleaner and spacious than expected. Many small local restaurants around. Will stay again when visiting Yilan next time.

Was quite old and dated, but was clean given the condition and age. Beds were hard but had good linens. Bathroom needs a shower curtain, it is designed as a wet room which we did not like. A simple curtain would fix the problem for $10USD. Staff was friendly enough and the location is convenient to the train and night market. Overall OK hotel but a bit too expensive for what you get. Paid $71USD a night, should have been like $40-50.

Room was very spacious and clean, however the lobby was very old looking. Location was good, near to many food choices. Breakfast was at the nearby macdonald. Simple down to earth hotel stay for a day or two
The best thing about this hotel is its location - a couple of minutes walk from the railway station, and just across the street from the night market where there was a wide variety of street food.
This hotel feels very much a family-run local hotel for local guests. The entrance was not prominent and could easily have been missed among the other signs.
The people at the reception counter spoke Chinese, were politely helpful but quiet and low key. Certainly not snazzily-dressed hoteliers!
We booked a four bedder and were upgraded to a larger room with two huge beds. Room was very spacious. The furnishing looked old but was clean, as was the bathroom.
Breakfast was a MacDonalds voucher.
This is an economical no-frills hotel with a great location, and which is more than adequate if all you want is a comfortable place to sleep and spread out, and especially if you are able to speak and understand Chinese, and want to feel you are hanging out amongst the local people.
Room had a window facing the isle~ so there was some disturbing appearance of the hotel worker who closed our window while we were inside the room.
Otherwise this hotel is good~ cheap, good location and service is fine.
The hotel might be old but it is very convenient, close to the train station, close to a lot of eating places. The room is clean and the bed is quite comfy for two, will recommend friend to stay here on a limited budget.
Close to train station with easy access to return by train to the hot springs, short stroll to night markets, shops.
Room was pink but we were on the pink floor. Older styling but it was comfortable & clean. Nice large room, good bed, feather pillows, hot water but shower over bath & the shower rose was not great.
Breakfast was McDonalds vouchers ( coffee & burger or sandwich). English speaking staff member, super friendly staff. Over all happy campers, we had a window & were on the 6th floor
I have booked the double room (basic one)
It is very vintage hotel and room( but still clean, so no worries about the cleanliness)
It is wonderful to enjoy a traditional vintage Taiwaness Hotel experience
A bit disappointed that we didn't use the Mcdonalds Breakfast Coupon that hotel has provided.
But overall it is a precious exprience in Yilan
