This hotel is in the park. Just be aware there's no a/c which was not needed when I stayed. The parking is crazy. Had to park extremely far away from the hotel and the parking lot is very dark due to their reduced light pollution policy. Make sure your have a flashlight. Foot is available but far away from the hotel. Very expensive for what you get but i guess because you are in the park.
I thought all the different lodges were pretty which is what we stayed in. The cabins looked neat. When we arrived we saw some elk behind some of the cabins. I liked that everything was all on one property. I missed where the registration office was so I had to ask someone. Either I just looked it over or maybe there needs to be another sign? Overall everything was good and we would stay here again for sure. The food was average. Not bad but nothing good. Maybe more options on that? Or maybe the good places were closed already?

Management got us in earlier than normal with bad weather pending
Thank you
Property was great. Did not care for the smaller size pillows. Dining was just ok. The dining at Grant was much better

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Peeling paint in the motel room.
Lots of dirt and food droppings under the eating counters.
Motel room without air conditioning must be miserable in midsummer.
Room was clean and comfortable. Centrally located in park, so that was great. Woods and sound of stream right outside window--lovely. Fridge in room but no microwave. WiFi is terrible and there is not much cell service. No air conditioning. Food is downright horrible and overpriced. Bring as much food and drinks with you as you can. Microwaves are available in some public areas.
No microwave or kettle in room and coffee pot didn’t work so we had to go outside and across the road to get a coffee or cup of team. Annoying considering the price of accommodation. Lodge is clean , quiet and centrally located.
We were unaware there was no town nearby, strictly a large resort. It was quite expensive for a room lacking a TV, microwave or clothes bureau. There were a couple of small shelves however. The food options we saw online prior to booking looked good however the restaurants are all part of the resort and provide cafeteria type food. It was disappointing.
