This house was a great home base while we attended a high school event in town. So much better than staying in a hotel with hundreds of teenagers running around! We appreciated the little touches like having night lights in the hallways and bathrooms, coffee/tea/cider available, and while we didn't use them there were games, books, etc. available. Luckily we didn't need to use the snow shovel, but were glad to see it when we arrived!
Be aware the house is on a main street, so if a little traffic noise will bother you make sure to bring earplugs for sleeping in the master bedroom which is on the front of the house. (It wasn't a problem for us.) Similarly, there were wind chimes outside the sun room that were a surprise the first night.
Nearby (short driving distance) there were plenty of food options, and downtown was a quick drive away too.
