Casa Rachel, situated in a quiet cul de sac with ample parking and fabulous open views of the sea, is only a 7 minute walk from the beautiful, child friendly Flamingo Beach with it's variety of restaurants and shops. Entering the south-facing garden you step into a private, peaceful haven with mature Canarian planting, an electrically and solar heated swimming pool with alfresco dining and lounge seating under the shade of the pergola which can be illuminated at night. There is a traditional barbeque and plenty of outdoor seating and sun loungers. The tranquil garden is not overlooked. The villa and gardens are on one level with no steps. The stylish open plan interior is accessed through French windows into modern kitchen, dining and sitting areas including satellite TV with BBC, ITV etc; DVD; hi-fi and a dresser full of books, toys and games. 2 double bedrooms have air conditioning and the 2 twin bedrooms have fans. There is a bathroom, a shower room and an en-suite shower room.

Great Villa, heated pool
Very well equipped Villa, has the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen. The heated pool 26 degrees was a great benefit in Jan / February and made our stay very pleasant. 10 minutes from the beach and restaurant & Bars, 25 minutes walk to the main town!Would happily book again.

Relaxing holiday in stunning villa
We had a lovely stay in your beautiful villa. We all enjoyed the homely feel. It had everything we could have asked for. We had a very relaxing time, weather was in 30s the first week (hotest I've every known Lanzarote) and mid 20s the second. Karen was great, dropping off fresh towels and there if needed. Never stayed in a villa that has been serviced so regularly and had the pool or garden looked after so well. Thanks again for being that personal touch at the end of the phone. We all definitely hope to come back again.

Great Villa perfect location
We had a wonderful stay, did not have a car this time, easy to get around walking and Taxi's which were very reasonable charges. The Beach is beautiful and very safe for our 7 year old Grand daughter. Thanks Donna, we will be back again.

A beautiful house that lives up to its billing
A spacious, bright, clean, very well equipped property with a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a colorful garden. The outdoor area is private and has a pleasant sea view. Shops, bus stops and Flamingo Beach are within reasonable walking distance, even for our 3 year old. The property is also very well serviced and the single (minor) issue we contacted the manager about was dealt with promptly. I would recommend Casa Rachel to anyone.

Warm January Sunshine in a handy and comfortable setting.
Everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable winter break in Lanzarote. Great outdoor area and a heated pool overlooking the sparkling sea and Fuertaventura in the distance. The property itself sits below the red volcano (great walk opportunity) and offers really comfortable and pleasant accomodation. Our first visit to Lanzarote which we found much more interesting and varied than we imagined, such as the volcanic vineyards and the beautiful town of Teguise... We had a great time. Thank you very much.

We stayed at this villa 10 years ago so we were interested to see the changes Donna had made. Lovely new kitchen and all new bathrooms with superb walk in showers. Comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms and a now extended panoramic view of the coast and across to Fuerteventura. Pool was warm and clean and the garden has a lovely sofa area which is particularly pleasant in the early to mid-mornings. Very enjoyable place to enjoy Playa Blanca from. Recommeded.

Fabulous family holiday
We had a week in this villa and wished we could have stayed longer. Clean and very well equipped, we even had a beach parasol. Powerful showers and the pool was really warm and clean. We hired a car but you could easily do without - we walked to the beach and restaurants. The Argentinian restaurant (walk down to seafront, turn right and keep walking, it’s up the steps behind the diving place) was amazing and the Italian in the same place was equally good. We walked up the Montana Roja behind the villa at sunrise one morning, what an experience! You can walk down into the crater which the kids loved. Communication with Donna before and during the holiday was fantastic & she really does go above and beyond to ensure her clients have the best holiday. All in all, we agreed that this was our best family holiday to date and we hope to return one day!

Disappointed.
We travelled as 3 generations and the bedroom layout worked well for us. The kitchen and living area are great and well stocked with all you could need, However that's were the positives ended for us. The gardens are in a poor condition, if you are expecting a beautiful well stocked garden as per photos 23 to 29 then you are going to be as disappointed as my parents were. Photo 34 after the garden alterations is probably the closest reflection but in my opinion the garden has declined since then. We also had an issue with the pool due to the pool water being in a poor condition, this took several visits from Karen the property manager and 3 days to resolve. We where advised by Karen this was due to a combination of leaf debris, calima dust and pool filters constantly blocking. We were also advised by Karen that it was safe to use even though you couldn't see the bottom nor the steps into the deep end. The master bedroom bed states king size bed but has a double mattress topper?. There is also no lighting by the gate key box so if you arrive late take a torch. One last thing to note, when your booking is confirmed by VRBO the owner sends you a separate booking agreement to sign and return before you travel. I have never had this before but understand why its sent when you read clause 10 "Liability".

Lovely family villa
We had a wonderful stay in this villa. It is spacious and well laid out and has a comfortable, homely feel. The pool was lovely and warm and kept clean during our stay, my 2 year old granddaughter couldn’t wait to get in every day. The villa is in a quiet location so little noise at night but it was only a short walk to the lovely Flamingo beach,restaurants and shops. Communication with Donna was great, she was really helpful and answered all our queries very quickly.

Slight issue with water but one phone call and between Donna the owner and Karen the property manager it was all sorted. Could not fault booking and correspondence from Donna. Family holiday
This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at the villa and yet again it has not disappointed. You can tell the villa is used by the owner as it is very homely, equipped with everything you can possibly need and the location is great. It’s within easy walking distance to Flamingo beach, which has a selection of restaurants etc. You don’t need to hire a car, but we did as we liked to explore the island. Marina Rubicon is gorgeous, again with lovely shops and restaurants. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Aqua Lava water park, which is conveniently situated around the corner from the villa. We would highly recommend a holiday in this lovely villa.

January getaway 2023
We had a week's break at Casa Rachel. It is a lovely, spacious villa beautifully presented with everything you would need. The outside space is great and the heated pool a huge bonus. It was a short walk to the front but we appreciatd having a car to get to the town centre and better restaurants. A big thank you to Donna for all the information beforehand and for the pleasure of using this villa.

Nice Villa
Nice villa in a quiet location. The villa has everything you need and would suit a range of ages. Probably a little further out than we may have wanted. Only disappointment for us was that when we originally booked back in 2019 (covid delayed), the villa had a hot tub which is no longer there. I should add that the listing has been updated to reflect that hence the 5 stars its just we were not aware
