The service was very professional, staff are friendly and helpful. The property is clean especially all the amenities including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, condiments for tea, coffee and complimentary biscuits. It was amazing even though the weather wasn't the best the children had an awesome time , even went in the hot spa and loved it . The staff were amazing made you feel welcome. Definitely will be staying there and highly recommended.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and the air con worked well. The room was large with a sofa and table as well as a desk with lots of power points. There was a microwave oven as well as the usual toaster and kettle. Our downstairs room had parking at the door. It was very clean and quiet. There was a lock box for the key as we arrived late in the evening. Couldn't have asked for a better place to break our long journey.

Overall a great place to stay. Surrounds leafy and a lot of birdsong which was nice. Clean and comfortable, reasonable condition of facilities and everything you need. Staff friendly and helpful. Just wish reception opening hours were a little extended - not a major issue. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were pleased to have a kitchenette with a microwave. Also happy with our outdoor patio area. We were conveniently located close to the main road and shopping centre but still managed to be very quiet. Staff at check in and check out were very pleasant and cheerful. I would highly recommend staying here

We had to book a last minute trip (due to an ill family member) and were pleasantly surprised by the Select Inn Gosford. Firstly, they made after hours check-in very easy (which we appreciated since we didn't arrive until after midnight). Secondly, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I was staying with my mother who has back issues and she slept very well. Thirdly, the pool area and koi pond was very relaxing during a very tense time. We didn't hire a car during our stay but we found the resort was well located. There are two bus stops close by for travelling to the station/hospital if you don't want to walk the thirty minutes/2kms into town. (I'm from Victoria so I found the weather too warm to comfortably walk into town.) There's a tavern across the road if you want to eat out and there's also a Coles across the road if you want to eat in your room (the microwave and fridge were very convenient for us). The staff were friendly and understanding, and we'll be staying here again for future hospital visits.
