This was a gem of a find & totally suited to our needs. The breakfast was basic but good. Unfortunately, they had electrical problems shortly after we checked in and the AC went out for the remainder of our stay. Not fun when we had hot nights

Value for money
Hotel is located easy 15 min walk from old town square. Hotel itself is quiet (couldn’t hear neighbours or ppl above, just done light footsteps), but tram noise notable: def can’t have window open but not necessary as a/c is good. Room is large, amenities including tea/coffee (but not milk), water which was replaced. Shower gel and shampoo and vanity/sewing kits also replaced. Fridge is handy, no safe. There is a persistent buzzing noise, not sure if this is a/c but both this and tram noise drowned out with white noise but would recommend ear plugs for when trans start again in the morning. Things that could be better: more hooks or railing in the bathroom, more hangers (only 4 in room), more secure luggage storage as only behind desk which isn’t always manned. I don’t normally have hotel breakfasts, this one seemed fine as included in price and staff were pleasant and efficient in the breakfast room. Overall, happy with the stay, and grateful for the close walk to the station for my next destination.

Lovely clean and comfortable room. A great breakfast was included making it easy to set off for the day. Easy access to the train station, eating out places and the old town. The only thing to be aware of is that reception is only open for standard daytime working hours.

The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We had to leave for an early train and they made arrangement for a decent to-go breakfast that we could pick up the evening before. There were just some minor things in the bathroom that could use repair. The thing we like about the hotel is mostly the location. It’s walkable from/to the train station and the old town. The tram-stops were right by the hotel so we were able to use the trams for farther away tourist attractions.

Bardzo fajny HOTEL usytuowany bardzo blisko Starego Miasta i Dworca PKP. Duże łane przestronne pokoje. W pokoju zestaw do parzenia kawy i herbaty, wygdne duże łóżko queen. Pyszne śniadania. Bardzo miła i zawsze pomocna obsługa w recepcji oraz Panie sprzątające pokoje. Czysto, pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Hotel Brassel we Wrocławiu to hotel zdecydowanie warty polecenia. .................................................................... A very nice HOTEL located very close to the Old Town and the Railway Station. Large, spacious rooms. The room has tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable large queen bed. Delicious breakfasts. Very nice and always helpful staff at the reception and the ladies cleaning the rooms. Clean, rooms cleaned every day. Hotel Brassel in Wrocław is a hotel definitely worth recommending.

It’s a decent place but by no means value for money. The teams pass close by so you can hear them when you are sleeping. The place has no amenities apart from rooms and in the night you cannot even get a bottle of water from the reception.

super clean and handy place with awesome breakfast
the location itself is a bit far from the old town. still it is close to train/bus station and shopping mall (though i didnt use :-P). there are a small grocery shop and nice wee local pubs within 1 min walk. so handy! most of all, breakfast was awesome :-) you can order a hot breakfast like omelette, scrambled egg. The staff greeting at the cafeteria was so kind. staffs at reception were kind too :-) the room was super clean and spacious. my room has a pillar at the feet of the bed which felt a bit awkward but not a flaw.

The staff was professional and very friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to a mall, restaurants and other city conveniences. It has spacious modern rooms and is exceptionally clean. I highly recommend it and am planning to stay there again.

This place was, for me, almost perfect. Great bed, good air conditioning and refrigerator, very comfortable room. And the TV had Netflix available! Two minor details that could be improved: my room was next to the (ultra-snazzy) elevator that apparently needed servicing... it would make a noise every time it went to the ground floor, and that noise was audible inside my room. It did not affect sleep, though. What did affect it was the curtains that did not keep out quite enough light. At the height of summer when the sun starts to rise at 3:30 a.m., it's an issue. There also seems to be some misinformation in the Expedia listing. It says there is no after-hours check-in--and that check in ends at noon. While I assume 12 midnight is what was meant, the front desk is manned 24 a day, and in a late-night converstaion with the guy behind the desk, I was told late check-in WAS possible. Clarification on the topic would be helpful.

Wir hatten das sehr schöne, großzügige Familienzimmer im Dachgeschoss, das sehr bequem und gut eingerichtet war. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Einziger kleiner Nachteil waren fehlende Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten an den Dachschrägenfenstern.

Hotelli oli sijainniltaan hyvä. Baari oli suljettu joka vähän harmitti. Aamupala oli kohtuullinen, kahvinkeittimen kanssa ongelmia saimme vain parina päivänä valikoida kahvin. Pyyhekoukut ja saippuateline puuttuivat shampoota ja hoitoainetta oli hankala käyttää kun ei hyllyä. Kylpyhuoneen oven karmi oli irti.

Einziger Pluspunkt, die Größe und Sauberkeit der Zimmer. Die Fenster sind nicht wie beschrieben, schallisoliert man hört die ganze Nacht die Züge fahren. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet wenig Auswahl, es gab z. B. kein Müsli. Der Speisesaal ist im Keller und hat Tiefgaragenflair.

Not bad but could be better
With a little more effort and some maintenance this could be a very nice hotel, but it felt like the staff has given up. Location is very good though, easy to reach with public transport from every corner of the city. Room was suprisingly big. Breakfast was so and so. Coffee machine is a nightmare and needs to be replaced. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to everyone, but would probably stay again if the price was right.
