This is going to be a difficult review to write. We had high expectations based on previous reviews. The flat itself is nice enough, tastefully/quirkily decorated and clean. However we didn’t feel settled there for a number of reasons.
The main reason was the area. It is in a part of Town which might be described as studenty at best, and on a main road. The front Windows look like original single glazed sash windows which are not sound proof. The side windows where the bedrooms are, are double glazed.
Parking is stressful. There is no parking outside the property, you have to find somewhere to park in the zone which could be half a km away. Not relaxing coming back from a day out and having to find a parking space (though we always did)
It’s not THAT close to the sea.
In short I can’t really recommend it to young families, older people or those looking for a relaxing week in a seaside town. However it’s fine for younger people, and short breaks/use as a base for a wedding or birthday party for example.
