The property is an older property but so very well kept. Rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a motel. Very well worth it and extremely friendly owners. Would stay again for sure.

Adorable and family operated
Beautiful place to stay. Loved the family feel it was so peaceful. They pay attention to small detail and it didn’t go unnoticed. Truly felt like a cabin. We will absolutely stay here again. We spent Christmas here!!! Thanks so much for your hospitality!!! Ps But beware when you visit this town of Thermopolis the cops are out to find a reason to pull you over. They pray on out of staters. It’s the talk of the town!! So follow every single law to a T! And definitely don’t speed pay attention to the speed limits. They will get you!!

Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived so we checked out tge thrift store across the parking lot. Our room was clean and spacious with plenty of sleeping space for everyone. We brought our service dog in training and when ahe was off duty she made friends witg the resident dog. They were able to play off leash in the shared patio area. The BBQ grills were convenient along with all the outdoor seating. This motel had plenty of parking for our trailer and was off the road so it was very quiet. We also purchased some DoTerra items from the office which was great for our sore muscles. We will definitely stay here again!!

The room was super clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and it was so quiet and peaceful! Service was top notch, we were given given great recommendations for activities in Thermopolis. Parking was right in front of your room, and the grounds felt very safe. Would absolutely stay here again!

El Rancho Motel is a really nicely kept moderately priced motel of the drive-up-to-the-room category - my preferred style. The owner lives on the property and manages it with friendly service and a generous spirit. The room was clean and quiet, and the location is terrific.

I loved how nice and quiet everything was as well as how clean the rooms were. They were very friendly and attentive. Their queen beds were very comfortable however, the twin mattress was very uncomfortable I could feel the coils and felt very wobbly.
