The Location:

Just 7 miles from Loon Mountain and close to additional skiing resorts, golf courses, hiking trails, and snowmobiling routes, shopping and dining in Woodstock and Lincoln, ice castles and more, there's plenty to do nearby year round if you decide to venture off the property.

Property Details:

A private road leads you to a 10 acre property with frontage along the river, a pond, yard space, two decks, three car garage and fire pit.

Our own dirt road at the end of the driveway leads to a clearing at the river's edge with adirondack chairs and a small fire pit. River levels vary often based on rainfall and season; most of the time it's easy to climb down to a small rocky beach for access to wade, swim or float.

The main deck offers a grill and plenty of seating with an additional deck off the in-law suite plus a patio off the game room. The main fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs is in the yard with seasonal views of the pond and mountains in the distance.

The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, five comfortable bedrooms, and three full bathrooms. The primary suite has French doors to the deck and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with soaking tub.

The second floor houses a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds and three double beds with its own half bath.

The lower level offers two more bedrooms, another half bath and all the fun! A wet bar, custom poker table, workout area, movie theater, pool table and foosball round out this space with direct access to the backyard. Note this level is not air conditioned but generally stays fairly cool.

Another upper level suite provides a private retreat with its own bedroom (with window a/c in summer) bathroom, full kitchen, living room and deck.

Things to note:

• Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property

• Our home is on a private dirt road and cannot accommodate large trucks or buses

• Any trash left behind must be limited to what can fit in bins provided. We wish we could offer recycling services, but since they’re limited in the area, we know the planet will thank you if you have the ability to bring it with you

• We offer a limited starter supply of cleaning and paper goods and ask that guests supply their own firewood; please bring along anything you think you may need

• Our team plows the driveway and shovels front steps for storms over 2 inches, prioritizing check-in and check-out times. The town plows our road on their schedule, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended in winter. While our team works hard to keep things clear, we appreciate your patience with any travel challenges that come with enjoying everything the mountains offer in the winter!
