The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel was run down, stains on floors, broken fixtures. The pillows were horrible. Practically no blankets. The view was of the freeway. Will not stay at this location again.

No light in the bathroom, the toilet didn’t work, the room wasn’t finished and had questionable substances on the wall. It smelled like dirty wet dog. It took over 24 hours to get a response and the manager was so rude and condescending that we left after the first night. They didn’t come to look at the light or toilet until we told them we wanted a refund and were leaving. When we called corporate the customer service rep said she would be asking for one too. Hoping Expedia can get us our money back because over $400 to shower by cell phone flashlight and pee in the lobby bathroom is unacceptable!!

We had a warm greeting from Sabrina and the fresh cookies. The room was very clean. There was a decent variety for breakfast and the area was clean as well.

In addition to answers above, the breakfast was excellent, and the cookies and coffee bar were a very nice touch. I have stayed before and returned because of all the answers I have provided. The lobby, the decor in the hallways and rooms is just very welcoming and pretty, and the entire building is in excellent condition, no damage or visible repairs. Still looks like new.

Stayed here for a quick overnight and it was EXCELLENT. The staff clearly cares about the property and their guests, there were even fresh baked cookies at the counter all day and night. Really friendly people. The property is exceptionally clean and quiet. Would stay again.

Ventilation system needs replacing
When he was in the bathroom at 6 a.m., my husband got a strong smell of bacon. He was also very congested and thinks the ventilating system is to blame (as well as the bacon smell). When I told the check-out clerk, she said "Oh, it's probably the cottonwood trees that made him congested - everyone gets that here." She did admit the ventilating system was also to blame for the bacon smell - that, and the fact that our room was right above the kitchen area. Also, there was a constant loud hum in the bathroom, but there was no fan to get the moisture out.
