Clean and comfortable room. While the bathroom was clean and the shower was good it could do with an upgrade. At least replace the missing shelf above the basin. And a small bin in the kitchen area woul be good too.

Do not stay.
Room had not been cleaned properly. The previous guest's half-drunk Pepsi bottle was still in the fridge, the milk was opened and spilt in the fridge, one coffee satchel only, no cereals or anything like our friends had in their room. The bathroom is really old and in desperate need of an update. The shower was terrible. The free to air TV didn't work. The blinds don't block out the bright lights of the external stairwell. We had a cockroach running around the room. The only good thing about the room was the bed was comfortable.

Room was comfortable, but because on Highway road noise apparent. Also next to stairway, so added noise of clomping up and down the stairs(Rm1) Shower head needs replacing, poor pressure and leaking out back. Convenient location for Anita’s Theatre.

The motel was surprisingly quiet for its main street location. The main rooms have been refurbished and were very comfortable. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but in a cool clean retro way. All the staff were great and very accommodating Overall an excellent choice..

For the prices being charged, this was a very underwhelming facility. Even though it was the Easter LWE, I would have expected the dinning facilities to be open. The room was tidy enough however there was a missing shelf over the very old and dated sink in the bathroom, the hot water tap fell off in my hand and was unable to put back on properly because the thread had stripped and to top it all off, the bathroom leaked from under the tiles out onto the carpet. Then to top it all off, I was in the room where a famous Artist died many years ago!!! I would not reccommend this Hotel to anyone...

Very comfortable rooms and location is great - only issue was how little noise the walls keep out, and the water system was extremely loud. A neighbour showering at 5am sounded like somebody using power tools!
