Escape to Haven Island - your own private Island! Experience the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. Explore trails, swim, fish, grill, boat, kayak, relax. A fully equipped chalet w/ open concept, vaulted ceilings, Wi-Fi, A/C, smart TV & more. Comfortably accommodates 14 people. Child-friendly & dogs allowed. 21' pontoon, kayaks, paddle boat all included! Located off the Tuscobia Trail, a 74 mile ATV trail through the woods. Golf, restaurants & bars nearby!

Wooded trails, several docks and secluded spaces to discover. Explore the lake in the provided kayaks, canoe, paddle boat or pontoon! Stop at the bar/restaurant on the lake. Rent ATV's or jet skis and have them delivered!

You'll love the wrap-around deck on 3 sides of the chalet. Enjoy the outdoor pavilion for hanging out, cooking out, playing cards, etc.

Have fun with the various yard games, several swimming areas, fishing poles, flat grill, shoreline yard swing and much more.

Inside the chalet, the main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views, three bedrooms, bathroom with walk-in shower, dining area, electric fireplace, laundry room, three season room with queen size futon for additional sleeping, and access to a wrap-around deck where you’ll enjoy listening to the loons and sipping on your favorite beverage.

The upper loft includes a spacious master suite and lounge area with breathtaking lake views, a log framed king bed, executive bathroom with walk-in shower and double vanity, and a small bedroom with bunkbeds. There’s plenty of room in the loft to accommodate an air mattress or pack and play, if needed.

Main Floor Sleeping Areas:
4 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with double bed, 3 season room with queen futon

Upper Loft Sleeping Areas:
Large bedroom with king bed, sofa sleeper, small additional bedroom with bunk beds

Room for six vehicles to park at private easement near dock. Take the included pontoon over to your private island!

Host will be available via call/text/messaging throughout your stay.

Around the Island:
Island rental includes a 2023 21' Sylvan Mirage 8520 Party Fish Pontoon, 2 kayaks, a canoe, a paddle boat, and assortment of water rafts. Kids will love the private swimming areas and they’ll cherish memorable adventures exploring the island. Fish for Musky, Northern, Walleye, and pan fish or enjoy some quiet time on additional docs located around the island.

Outdoor pavilion for dining, games, or just relaxation when the weather calls for a bit of shade or shelter in case of rain.


Attractions and Activities:
Located on the 74-mile Tuscobia State Trail through the forest, just 25 miles southeast of Hayward, one hour west of Minocqua, you’ll discover a variety of fun outdoor activities, like hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV & UTV riding and bird watching, just a short drive from the island.

In addition, there are many tourist attractions in Hayward, approximately a 50-minute drive, including go-kart racing, mini-golf, rock climbing, batting cages, gift shops of all kinds, golf courses, an escape room, zoo/wilderness walk, and more for you to discover!

At booking, a rental and boat agreement will be sent to your email for signature. A $500 boat deposit preauthorization will be placed on the payment method 3 days prior to check out and released at check out unless the boat has been damaged.
You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
