This is a perfect location to the US boarder, the casino and downtown. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

It was a very nice stay with a beautiful view of the St.Clair river. We loved the breakfast buffet in the morning! Everything was delicious with tons of options and restocked regularly!

Parking off site across the street was unexpected and the entry (only one) to the hotel itself was a bit awkward. Wouldnt want to do that trek in the snow. Continental breakfast was good enough for selection.

Charging for parking offsite???
They are currently doing renovations to the parking lot, when we arrived we were told there is no onsite parking available. They directed us to a parking garage two blocks away. Our reward for dragging our things through the freezing cold was to be charged $20 for parking. I hope the Holiday Inn corporate guys get wind of this situation because it’s ridiculous and unreasonable in a Canadian Winter. Charging customers for a major inconvenience is very unfair.

This is a great location - right across the street from the river and within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast attendants went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Room and property were very clean and tidy!
