It was super great minus the yappy dog all night in room 908. I felt like I needed to go over and complain to them. They didn’t even attempt to quiet the dog up once and I couldn’t nap at all.

Conveniently located with great views of Detroit river and city skyline if you get a room facing this side. Overall hotel requires upgrades, not very clean, bedsheets not changed from previous guests and bedbugs!!!! Water in the pool looked more like a soup. Staff was not always very accommodating, depends who was working the front desk, clearly some of them had zero previous working experience. Best thing about this hotel was breakfast i a spacious 2 story lunchroom. Everyone is charged for parking but spots at their lot are very limited, they have extra spaces in the multistory parking garage 1 block away. Riverside pedestrian passage is just outside across the street, casino is also within walking distance, The Keg is 1/2 block away and Goose restaurant with patio is attached to the hotel- has great food and drinks!

There is a definite problem with your parking protocol. It is very difficult to unload luggage and park your car down the street. Our pick up truck barely fit in the parking garage. We had to park in two spots to fit. We had a parking spot in the back lot but when we asked if we were in the right spot the gentleman said it was parking for the bar. The sign on the parking lot clearly stated it was for hotel guests. The lady at the desk said it was first come first serve. So if we had a spot I’m not sure why we had to move. As we pulled out another truck pulled in. I think you need to add this information to your hotel details. Also the cost for the parking. It may change people’s mind of staying at your facility. Thank you

Great place to stay. The staff are amazing. They did their best to help me figure a deposit. Every one was friendly, and so helpful. The breakfast was okay and plenty of options. I will definitely be staying here again. We had a river facing room I recommend this. The view is spectacular.

The Holiday Inn Express Waterview was centrally located to everything you could imagine - Dieppe Gardens with great walking trails along the river, Caesar’s Casino, and Adventure Bay Water Park to name a few. There are also many great restaurants a stones throw away. We’d like to give a shout out to the Loose Goose right next door. They had great food and amazing staff. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly. Rooms were clean and the breakfast far exceeded any other hotel that we’ve stayed at. Omelettes, French toast, bacon, sausage and so much more. Everything was delicious and we heard many other guests making similar comments. We will be back.

I love the location, the view from our room was great! Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. The only thing I did not like is paying for parking? I've stayed at other places and never once paid for parking. However, the attention to detail and cleanliness of this place is superb.
