Having stayed at the Westbourne a number of years ago (twice) it did not disappoint on revisiting. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, the room was warm and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. All in all a nice place to stay.

Lovely guest house, situated in a quiet part of the lake district however is on 4mins drive to the busy town Staff were so friendly and helpful Place was lovely and clean Would definitely recommend

I checked in super late and they had a game plan in place to accommodate my late arrival even though there is not a person on site after hours. The location is awesome to access the restaurants, shops, and activities within Windermere. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice staff, although weren’t flexible about cancelling or changing the reservation when asked. Area is nice and close to the town. Room and bathroom were nice. The bed was annoying for a couple, as it was supposed to be a superior double room but the bed was two single beds put together. The bed sheets were supposed to hold the two beds together, but it didn’t really work well. Sleeping together would mean one of you would end up sinking into the gap in between the two beds. Overall very clean, only the kettle needed a little re-clean upon arrival.
