The suite itself was very nice. It was spacious, very well decorated, clean and well maintained.. The breakfast was fine, if a cooked breakfast is not your thing. Excellent location for the town centre, but at the same time very quiet.
The one big draw back was the parking situation. We did not feel comfortable pulling up outside, as had been suggested, to drop the cases off or to pick up the car park ticket due to there being double yellow lines outside, plus it being the only stretch of road in Bowness with police no waiting bollards! We had great difficulty finding a car park space on any of the car parks (around 12.30 pm). We paid for the minimum of 3 hours and went to collect the car park ticket from the suites when that time was nearly up. The ticket did not cover the car park we were on so we had to move the car, only to find a place very difficult to find on the correct car park: we must have been there 15 minutes before a place became available. This is not likely to be so bad at other times of the year. As above, the suites themselves are very nice. Guests may like to consider catching a train to Windermere and then a taxi to Bowness instead of taking the car.
