There are also traditional ale houses and highly acclaimed restaurants, plus nearby walks with beautiful views at St Catherine’s Hill Nature Reserve. You can also enjoy a day out to Beaulieu Motor Museum, Jane Austin’s House in Chawton and discover the heritage at Bombay Sapphire Distillery, all a short drive away.
A little further afield visit the historic dockyard city of Portsmouth and its brand retail outlet, Gunwharf Quays, is just a 30-minute drive away. 15 miles away is the New Forest, which has something for everyone - beautiful scenery, wildlife, pub lunches, historic buildings, walks and cycle ways. You could also do a day trip to the Isle of Wight, just a ferry trip from Lymington or Southampton.
