There was very very little toilet paper with no roll to replenish. There were dozens of flies and gnats in the room and when I woke there was a cockroach in the bathroom. After my shower I walked to the bed to put on my socks and my feet were covered with hairs and dirt. The floor was filthy. I told the front desk and they acted like it was nothing new I was telling them.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. Checkin was easy and the staff was efficient and friendly. The price of the room was good for the area, considering its peak season for tourists. The hotel itself is old and rundown, but the bed was fantastic. I checked the mattress for bedbugs and it was CLEAN. The jetted tub was very nice. I did see 2 baby roaches upon checkout, however I do not believe there’s an infestation because I inspected the room upon arrival and saw ABSOLUTELY NO signs of a bug problem. With all that being said it was a nice and comfortable stay. Would stay again.

This was the worst property in the world I accidentally booked this. They wouldn’t allow me to cancel. They’ve been trying to charge me the entire amount and I gotta tell you Expedia dropped the ball. I called you immediately for your help and you did nothing.

Not at all bad.
Old hotel, but the price was right for what we received. A pretty bare bones room. However, it was clean, but a bit of a stale odor. Not overwhelming, but there nevertheless. Front desk was quite accommodating, although I feel it's a little unprofessional to call hotel guests "Honey".

The location of the property is amazing. Walking distance from Old Town and not too far of a drive to Shenandoah National Park. It is a refurbished older hotel. It's a clean property but rooms need some a bit more TLC.

Key card to room would not work after we returned to room . Front desk clerk seemed put out by having to change our room. Glad we did get another room. First room was terrible. Light switch didn’t work. No drain plug in sink or tub. Very dingy. Second room we were moved to was on second floor and much better. I would have given more stars if we had been given that room first. Otherwise, motel was typical of old chain motels. Breakfast just okay. Aside from front desk woman, okay stay.

Not a great place.
Place was clean but it was late after we returned from dinner and found, that there was no weather stripping under door so bugs wear coming in. Small cockroach bugs, killed over a dozen, the bathroom door doesn't close due to not hung right, had a shower and tub floor moves. The complimentary breakfast, well pancakes cold, no flavor and rubbery.
