The worst
It was the tiniest hotel room I've ever stayed at in my entire life. It was old and not well kept. It was supposed to be a deluxe queen suite but nothing deluxe about it. I was absolutely disappointed and not happy about the misconception of what I thought by the description and what it actually was. The bathroom door would close because it was hitting the sink the wallpaper was peeling around the room the chairs had nasty stains on them. It was overall the worst place I've ever stayed . And I've never ever seen a hotel room like this in my life.

The registration area was very nice with a grand piano, quiet music, and a "log fire" on the TV screen. We were warned by another guest, "The coffee is good but you might want to go out for breakfast." She was right. The waffle maker stuck so waffles didn't really work. The bathtub looked like the drain had been painted over.

The pool was dirty and unusable. After i mentioned it, i was not advised. The outside hot tub was empty. The indoor jets Didn't work. I woke up with a dead roach on my chest. Disgusting.

The young lady who was at the desk when I checked in is an absolute professional - one of the best hotel staff I have ever interacted with (I spend approx. 20 nights per year in a motel for personal travel). The man at check-out was also helpful. The property appearance just looks tired and the outside lacks attention to detail in upkeep (unkempt - trash/landscaping). The on-line picture when I booked makes it look better than it is. To be clear, there are properties that are much worse, but there are many in this price range that are better. The exterior doors say they are locked, even as they stood open all evening. I had some other issues with cleanliness in the room; the front desk assured me they would be addressed.

This property was convenient to the location of event I had attended earlier in the evening. That’s about all I have to say positively. I booked at king bed. Housekeepers were relaxing in the lobby chatting with the front desk manager who was so hungry she ate in front of me. I went to the room to sanitize. There were patch repairs in just about every wall. It felt creepy. The inside of the refrigerator wasn’t clean and the toilet seat had been cleaned with a dirty towel. But overall the cleaning was ok. Then I saw a fleck on a pillow. I turned the bed down and there was more flecks. They were very small but looked some like bugs. When I checked out the next day I saw housekeepers drop the linens on the ground outside. The flecks were probably from the debris that flies in the air when dropped and the bugs that live in that dirt. I complained about the bugs and the front desk person immediately “upgraded “ me to a court side “queen” room but the bed was actually a full. There were no flecks in it though. The refrigerator and microwave were old and extremely used. I did have to clean the toilet but I was going to do that anyway. And there were no holes in the walls with patch repairs so I accepted the “upgrade” Of course I cleaned the rest of the room.
