The room itself was nice. We got in and got comfortable with the kids. Then around 9pm when everyone was in bed the room started smelling like weed. So someone near us was smoking and it was coming through the air vents. I also can't believe they charge for parking that isn't attached to the hotel. You have to walk down the street with the kids and all of our bags.

Phenomenal Hotel
I came to Delaware to do some research so we made a three day trip out of it. I booked Staybridge Suites without ever staying at one before based on reviews alone. I am 67 years old and this was the nicest cleanest most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed at. It is relatively new BUT the staff cleans constantly, the service is excellent, and the breakfast incredible…. I can’t say enough good things about my/our experience…

The room sizes were very spacious and the breakfast provided had a variety of options to choose from. The downsides was that there was no housekeeping service available on the weekend. Not a deal breaker but it would be convenient to have a place to discard garbage and dirty towels and washcloths.

Peaceful Stay
As I walked through the doors, I was greeted by two individuals at the front desk. I was attending a wedding the next day and the bridal stay in a few other suites on the floor above me. The suite was cozy, the bed was firm, everything appears to be well cleaned, fully stock kitchen with a dishwasher and I really liked how the dresser were built on the side of the kitchen countertop, excellent for saving space. The bathroom was spacious with my best brand product, Dove, to use in the shower and at the sink, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, handwash and lotion. Additionally, the room was provided with two complimentary waters along with coffee, decaf or caffeine, and black tea. The day I checked out the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. The breakfast that also was complimentary for staying there was clean, the workers were nice, variety of different items offered, something for everyone to enjoy and what I had, the scramble eggs and turkey bacon was fresh and well cooked. I will definitely recommend and stay here again.
