I recently stayed at the best western plus Newark and had an overall pleasant experience. The staff truly went above and beyond, providing exceptional service that made the stay feel special, I forgot my toothbrush and they provided and breakfast was really good. The cleanliness of the facilities was good. The only issue I encountered was the need for improved air quality or refreshed rugs in the room, as there was a slight mustiness that detracted from the otherwise pristine environment. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall comfort and care provided. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it with the hope that small updates are made to the rooms.

I did not like my stay I couldn't understand the man at the front desk at all and I paid extra for the suite with couch and electric fireplace the fireplace did not work and the light was burnt out,the AC unit made loud noises all night,the channel buttons on the TV remote didn't work and the entire building smelled of chlorine from the pool on the bottom floor are room was on the third floor they also charged a additional $150 deposit that wasn't mentioned during online reservation that will take 3/5 business days to go back on my card

There were only 2 wash cloths in the room. The phone did not work. When I asked front desk for wash cloths, he was very rude. I told him its 4 people in the room with only 2 wash cloths. He then gave me 2 wash cloths. The pork food is mixed with the regular food.

I didn't like the plexiglass behind the service desk. It wasn't welcoming when I stay in a hotel I want it to be welcoming and the continental breakfast or the breakfast serviced very well. It wasn't about the service. They are just wasn't enough choices. I wouldn't recommend this again.

The beds and tv are old, carpets seemed dirty, pool was extremely chlorinated and our eyes became very irritated inspite not swimming. Our daughter who swam was irritated quite a bit. Extra pool and room towels were not available. Getting pancakes from machine for breakfast was a very long process with machine frequently stopping
